摘要: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for ensuring stability in the arrangement of a pile of packages delivered by drones. Upon receipt of package information concerning packages to be delivered by multiple drones at the same destination within a duration of time, simulations are performed of stacking the packages using different approaches based on the received package information. Based on simulating the various ways of stacking the packages to be delivered at the destination, the optimal arrangement of stacking the packages at the destination in a particular order and in a particular manner by the drones within the duration of time that maximizes the stability in the resulting arrangement of the pile of packages is identified. The drones scheduled to deliver the packages to such a destination are then instructed to deliver such packages to the destination in such a particular order and in such a particular manner.

摘要: A delivery drone includes an airframe, a drive module joined to the airframe, a storage module joined the drive module and a plurality of motors joined to the airframe. The storage module includes a housing defining an internal cavity in which a parcel may be situated. The delivery drone is selectively navigable between and dockable with a logistics tower and a drone port mounted to a residential or commercial structure. A drone loader is situated in a secondary vertical shaft of the logistics tower and includes a plurality of drone docks, each drone dock being engageable with a delivery drone. The logistics tower includes a plurality of tower drone ports through which the delivery drones traverse to access the elevator shafts and the secondary vertical shafts of the logistics tower.

摘要: Provided are an unmanned aerial vehicle and a method that enable mounting work for a package and a battery to be efficiently performed. The unmanned aerial vehicle includes a package-chamber tray, a package-chamber cover attached to the package-chamber tray from above, a battery provided on an upper surface of the package-chamber cover, and a body capable of flying, the body being attachable and detachable to and from a package chamber formed by the package-chamber tray and the package-chamber cover. First, packages are placed on the package-chamber tray. Next, the package-chamber cover is attached to the package-chamber tray. Next, the battery is placed on the package-chamber cover. At this time, the mounting position of the battery is adjusted in accordance with the center of gravity position of the entirety of the packages. Then, the body is attached to the package chamber.

摘要: A modular unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system comprises a body module, a rotor module, and a wing module. The body module includes a flight controller and a power distribution device. The body module is releasably attachable to the rotor module or the wing module, and the body module is releasably attachable to the rotor module. The rotor module includes one or more motors and electronic speed controllers (ESCs), while the wing module includes a wing having a flap, elevator, aileron, or rudder. Various UAV configurations can be formed from the body module, the rotor module, and the wing module. Each configuration includes different advantages for flight time, distance, battery life, and payload capacity. A UAV can be configured to a particular configuration to optimize parcel delivery.

摘要: A method for controlling an autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle for delivery of a medication package includes determining a thermal control period for the medication package. The method also includes identifying a delivery location corresponding to the medication package. The method also includes identifying at least one environmental characteristic of an environment that includes a delivery three-dimensional flight path between a starting location and the delivery location, wherein the at least one environmental characteristic indicates an actual weather value at the delivery location. The method also includes determining whether to deliver the medication package based on the thermal control period and the at least one environmental characteristic, using the unmanned aerial vehicle.

摘要: A network system provides delivery of items using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) or drones. The network system uses an infrastructure of nodes that include landing pads to dock drones, as well as interfaces to provide and receive items from docked drones. Nodes may be stationary (e.g., fixed at a building rooftop or public transit station) or mobile (e.g., mounted to a vehicle). The network system may determine a route for delivery of an item, where a drone transports the item for at least a portion of the route. For example, the route may include multiple waypoints associated with nodes between which drones travel. For other portions of the route, the network system may request a provider to transport the item using a ground-based vehicle.

摘要: A drone loaded with a package takes off from a takeoff device and uses a GPS system to fly to a user house that is a delivery destination of the package as the destination. Further, when the drone approaches the user house that is the destination, the flight of the drones is switched from autonomous navigation using the GPS system to remote control performed by a landing device and an in-house control device installed in the user house. The drone lands on the landing device by remote control from the landing device and the in-house control device, separates the package, and then returns to the warehouse using the GPS system and lands on the takeoff device.

摘要: An unmanned aerial vehicle that delivers a package includes a plurality of rotary wings, a plurality of first motors, a main body, a connector, a movable block, and a processor. When the connector is connected to a rail, the processor sets a rotation rate of the plurality of first motors to a rotation rate that is lower than a minimum rotation rate necessary for floating and higher than a minimum rotation rate necessary for propulsion along the rail. Furthermore, the processor causes the movable block to increase the angle formed by the normal direction of an imaginary plane containing the plurality of rotary wings relative to a support direction of the connector.
