Abstract: A belt and a belt conveyor are provided for transporting particulate material and especially oilseeds up the belt conveyor. The belt conveyor can include an intake end having a hopper, a discharge end, a body extending between the intake end and the discharge end and a belt. The belt travels along a travel path in the belt conveyor; the belt traveling through the hopper, up an upper run in the body to the discharge end, down a return run in the body, and back through the hopper. The belt can have a top surface having pairs of adjacent ridges provided on the top surface, each ridge having a pair of arms extending from a point, in a travel direction of the belt, wherein each pair of adjacent ridges define a v-channel on the top surface of the belt.

Abstract: A return roller assembly that is designed for use as part of a conveyor assembly to improve the ability to clean the conveyor assembly. The return roller assembly includes a roller shaft that extends between side walls of a conveyor frame. A plurality of support rollers are positioned along the length of the roller shaft to support a lower run of a continuous conveyor belt. A spacer is positioned between each of the support rollers to define the position of the rollers along the roller shaft. The spacer can be snapped onto the roller shaft and includes a series of standoffs that space the inner surface of the spacer from the roller shaft. A series of cleaning fins extend radially from the outer surface of the spacer and impart rotation to the spacer relative to the roller shaft during cleaning with a spray of water. The spacer can be formed from an extrusion cut to length.

Abstract: A conveyor module includes an elongate frame to which a looped conveyor track is mounted. The frame includes first and second end housings which include end pulleys for the conveyor track. The frame also includes a drive housing located at a mid-portion thereof which houses the drive motor for the conveyor track. The conveyor module is a discrete independently driven unit with an upper portion (running surface) of the conveyor track in a planar orientation for conveying items thereon in use. The conveyor module can include additional smart features. A warehouse floor arrangement uses a plurality of side by side conveyor modules being identical and grouped into banks.

Abstract: Disclosed is a conveyor system and method for advancing an item relative to a transport axis. The conveyor system includes a conveyor belt and a modular drive assembly having at least one drive module and at least one take-up module. Each drive module and each take-up module has a housing and a pulley assembly positioned within the housing. The respective positions of the housings of the at least one drive module and the at least one take-up module relative to the transport axis are selectively adjustable to modify the conveyor movement pathway. Moreover, the drive module can also include a drive pulley removal apparatus that is detachably secured within the housing for selective removal and replacement of a drive pulley.

Abstract: An automatic system for sorting items, such as small parcels, into groups bound for different geographical locations is described. The system uses tilting trays arranged at multiple levels, with all the trays being mounted on carriages traveling on a single monorail. The trays are tilted at the proper output chutes by cam roller mechanisms which are appropriately inserted into the path of cams on the trays under the coordination of a digital controller. A simple drive mechanism moves the carriages along the monorail using a drive roller which presses against the carriages. The carriages may be linked by a pliable linkage assembly that does not include mechanical hinges or like mechanisms. The system is easy to repair and operates at low noise levels.

Abstract: A double-chain conveyor is assembled of trough sections defining a bottom plate provided with lateral guiding walls for scraper elements and intermediate guides extending along the entire length of the conveyor and guidingly engaging lateral edges of flat chain elements arranged parallel to the bottom plate of the trough. The flat chain elements are provided with oblong holes extending in the direction of the chain and linking vertically directed ring-shaped chain elements with a play which permits shifting movements of all chain elements in the longitudinal direction. Intermediate drives are provided between superposed bottom plates of the trough and drive a chain wheel engaging the flat chain elements both in the upper and in the lower flight of the conveying chain.

Abstract: A shallow low cost conveyor system is disclosed for use with tow vehicles. The conveyor chain is provided with a drive which includes two idler sprockets and a drive sprocket all disposed to one side of the tow pin slot so that there is no chain in the adjacent portion of the slot. Abstract: An end unit (100) for a conveyor (1000) for use in a stage assembly comprises a first frame (110) installable in the stage assembly and a second frame (120).
