摘要: A cooling device for an internal combustion engine includes a pump portion, a circulation water passage, a thermostat configured to switch between a state where the coolant is circulated to a heat exchange water passage on which a radiator is disposed and a state where the coolant is not circulated to the heat exchange water passage, and a control unit configured to control the pump portion. The control unit is configured to control a three-way valve such that a first pump and a second pump are connected in parallel when the thermostat switches to the state where the coolant is circulated to the heat exchange water passage and controls the three-way valve such that the first pump and the second pump are connected in series when the thermostat switches to the state where the coolant is not circulated to the heat exchange water passage.

摘要: A thermal management system for a vehicle includes an engine cooling circuit that causes a heat medium to circulate through an engine, and an engine radiator that exchanges heat between the heat medium in the engine cooling circuit and outside air. The thermal management system for a vehicle further includes a switching device that switches between an independent mode in which the heat medium circulates respectively independently through a cooler cooling circuit and the engine cooling circuit, and a communication mode in which the cooler cooling circuit and the engine cooling circuit communicate with each other to cause the heat medium to flow between a chiller and the engine radiator; and a controller that controls an operation of the switching device to switch to the communication mode when a temperature of the heat medium in the engine cooling circuit is lower than a first heat-medium temperature.

摘要: A controllable coolant pump driven by a belt pulley for internal combustion engines is equipped with a valve slide. A seal is disposed on the outer edge of the wall plate between the plate and the outer cylinder of the valve slide. At least one additional flow outlet opening is disposed on the pump housing, the outlet volume stream of which openings can be additionally controlled, aside from the controllable volume stream that exits from the flow exit opening. The flow outlet opening from which the controllable outlet volume stream exits is connected with an outflow opening disposed near the rear wall of the valve slide, in the pump chamber rear wall, via an outflow channel. The outflow opening is enclosed by a ring seal disposed in the pump chamber rear wall, which enters into operative engagement with the valve slide in its rear end position.

摘要: A water pump (30) includes an impeller chamber (32) formed in a housing (31), a swirl chamber (40) formed in the housing (31) to communicate with a coolant passage (8) and the impeller chamber (32), and an impeller (33) that is supported to be free to rotate in the impeller chamber (32) and rotates in conjunction with an engine (2) so as to take in a coolant and discharge the coolant into the coolant passage (8) via the swirl chamber (40). The swirl chamber (40) is formed to be divided into a first swirl chamber (41) that communicates with the coolant passage (8) at all times, and a second swirl chamber (42) and a third swirl chamber (43) respectively connected to the coolant passage (8) via thermostats (S1, S2) respectively having switch valves that can be opened and closed. The thermostats (S1, S2) are operated to open and close, thereby connecting and cutting off the swirl chambers (42, 43) and the coolant passage (8), in accordance with a temperature of the coolant.
