Abstract: A downhole drill pipe may comprise a transducer disposed therein, capable of converting energy from flowing fluid into electrical energy. A portion of a fluid flowing through the drill pipe may be diverted to the transducer. After passing the transducer, the diverted portion of the fluid may be discharged to an exterior of the drill pipe. To generate electrical energy while not obstructing the main fluid flow from passing through the drill pipe, the transducer may be disposed within a lateral sidewall of the drill pipe with an outlet for discharging fluid exposed on an exterior of the lateral sidewall.

Abstract: A guide vane for use in a gas turbine engine fan section has an airfoil extending between a radially inner platform and a radially outer platform. The radially inner platform has a radially outwardly facing surface from which the airfoil extends and a radially inwardly facing underside. The airfoil has a trailing edge extending to a leading edge. The underside is attached to a mount bracket and a main rib extending from the underside of the platform adjacent the trailing edge and in a direction generally towards the leading edge, and merging into a top surface on the mount bracket. A pair of shoulders is formed on each of two circumferential sides of the rib. Each of the shoulders is spaced from each other at a point on the shoulders connected into the top surface of the mount bracket. The shoulders extend circumferentially toward each other and the under surface.

The turbine tube is supported in the convergent section and is rotatably mounted, the blades being attached to the inner surface of turbine tube such that water flow past the blades drives the rotation of the turbine tube.

Abstract: A method for the production of hydraulic and electric energy from the rolling motion generated by vehicular and non-vehicular traffic, which envisages the establishment of a flow of fluid moving between at least two tanks, the first of which is an accumulation; tank, with a fixed volumetric capacity, and the second is an expansion tank, with a volumetric capacity which varies between two limit conditions, namely, full/empty; the said flow being established by two independent circuits, the second of which is activated following the activation of the first, the latter being generated, in turn, by the rolling motion of vehicular and non-vehicular traffic. The said first and second circuit have a flow and pressure rate multiplier system interposed there between.
