    摘要: The light of luminous units known in prior art is laterally radiated, wherefore LEDs (10 to 13) have to be arranged in an inclined manner on separate sheet metal supports, conductor films, or printed circuit boards. Using such supports and fastening the LEDs (10 to 13) is technically complex and costly. In order to be able to arrange the laterally radiating luminous means (10 to 13) in a simple, low-cost manner without using any additional supports, said luminous means (10 to 13) is provided with a fully reflecting surface (14), on which the beams (S) are reflected towards a reflector (3) that reflects the beams (S) in the direction of a light disk (2). The fully reflecting surface (14) can be arranged according to specific requirements in such a way that the light falls in the desired direction. No additional supports are required. The inventive luminous unit is preferably used in sideview mirrors of motor vehicles but can also be used in all areas of signal technology and illumination engineering.

    摘要: A lighting unit cover including a deep color (first) resin layer subject to preblanking is laminated and molded in a predetermined position on a backside of a light color (second) resin layer on a surface side subject to postblanking. The second layer protrudes toward the first layer side and a boundary surface between the first and second layers and is offset by a distance toward the first layer side in a laminated portion. The first layer contacts the melted second resin and is subject to postblanking so that a part thereof is molten and drawn by its flow. A step portion in a cavity corresponding to a protruded portion of the second layer toward the first layer side blocks the flow of the molten first resin into the second layer. The first resin is not mixed into the first layer, resulting in excellent appearance and a large light emitting area.

    摘要: A connecting structure of an electric bulb includes a socket, in which the electric bulb is mounted, and a connector having a terminal received therein. The connecting structure also includes, fitting into the socket, a first lead wire and a second lead wire connected respectively to both ends of a first filament of the electric bulb, and terminal portions, formed respectively at extension portions of the first lead wire and the second lead wire which extend outwardly from the electric bulb. The terminal portions are connected to the terminals respectively when the socket is fitted on the connector. When an inner wall of the socket abuts against a front wall of the connector, an electrically-connected condition of each terminal portion and the corresponding terminal is maintained, and a power source and the bulb are electrically connected together, so that the bulb is lighted. The connecting structure may include more than one filament in the bulb.

    摘要: A back cover of a motor vehicle lamp includes a plurality of types of blocks provided with joints that join the blocks together; terminals fixed to a connector of the plurality of types of blocks, and bulb holders; and a cord wired between the terminals. The blocks are selected to match with a structure of a motor vehicle lamp, and the selected blocks are joined together via the joints. As a result, it is possible to structure the back cover to match with a variety of structures of the motor vehicle lamp. Further, it is possible to have in common a plurality of types of blocks that constitute the back cover. Therefore, it is possible to manufacture the back cover at low cost.
