Abstract: In one aspect, an example methodology implementing the disclosed techniques includes, by a product subscription service, receiving information regarding a hardware asset being returned at an end of a subscription and predicting, using a first machine learning (ML) model, whether the hardware asset has reached EOL. The method also includes, responsive to predicting that the hardware asset has reached EOL, creating, by the product subscription service, a work order to dispatch an eco-partner. The method may further include, by the product subscription service, responsive to predicting that the hardware asset has not reached EOL, predicting, using a second ML model, one or more new subscription orders matching the hardware asset and recommending the one or more matching new subscription orders as possible fits for the hardware asset.

Abstract: A system for capturing a product tag image, extracting product information, and validating information. The extracted information is then utilized to populate a universal (brand independent) product registration database. To incentivize end users to register their new and in service products, entry is simplified by the use of an application on a smartphone, tablet or personal computer. A user downloads an application and enters their information then takes at least one picture/scan/image of the product label(s) that contain: 1) manufacturer name (and/or brand name), 2) model number, 3) serial number; and 4) date of production. Said information is extracted by Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and then validated before entering said database.

Abstract: Track transformations of mature digital twins from time of creation to decommissioning of the physical asset. As physical assets evolve, changes, repairs, maintenance and services relevant to the physical assets originally provided, can be applied or deemed inapplicable in the current state. Mature digital twins are leveraged to identify proposed changes to physical assets and compare original digital twins of the base asset to determine whether deviations over time render the proposed changes irrelevant. Irrelevant changes, due to deviations from the original digital twin, are further analyzed to determine whether the irrelevancy is due to a previous action performed on the physical asset and update to the mature digital twin. Previous updates to physical assets, reflected in the mature digital twin, can be eligible for rebates and incentives where the asset owners performed actions that render proposed updates irrelevant, while relevant changes are approved and permeated to mature digital twins.

Abstract: A recall and promotion processing system may include shopper devices, each associated with a corresponding shopper, and a recall-promotion processing server. A predictive model is built for a vehicle component and values are mapped for a feature of the vehicle component using the predictive model. A threshold is applied to the mapped values. Abstract: A method for collecting returned items or information about returned items and evaluating return policy criteria with respect to collected items, and a system for the same, are disclosed. The method includes providing a station, such as a kiosk terminal, preferably at a pharmacy location. The station includes a computer and a user interface including a touch screen interface. Items, for example, pharmaceutical items to be returned are brought to the station. The user enters information at the station, such as by scanning a bar code on a container of the item, weighing the item or its contents, and entering lot number and expiration date associated with the item. A system and method for facilitating recalls is also provided.

Abstract: Methods of supporting mobile application-based bicycle repair, warranty claim processing, and trip analysis include storing a bicycle serial number in association with a user identifier identifying a user of a mobile application and receiving bicycle trip data from a mobile communication device having the mobile application installed thereon, the bicycle trip data derived by the mobile application based at least in part on sensor data collected from one or more sensors disposed on a bicycle. The bicycle trip data may, for example, be provided to a bicycle repair service provider capable of deriving bicycle repair service information therefrom, which may be provided to the mobile communication device and displayable by the mobile application.
