摘要: Live musical performances are archived for presentation on multimedia. Multiple cameras record multiple views of the performance and multiple audio tracks are professionally mixed for audio clarity. The recording on the media of music information from the performance includes one of video, audio, and textual content from a musical instrument played by a performer. The display to the viewer of the music information on the media is through a plurality of windows. One window depicts a detailed view of the musical instrument being played by the performer. The media are a CD, DVD, or any other media capable of recording audio, video, and text. The textual information could be music notes, performer's name, the place and date of performance, composer and composition information.

摘要: A system and method of auto-configuration for the instrument setting of a multimedia apparatus is disclosed. All available output modes are used to show multimedia information to a user by means of automatically switching and setting configurations among connected terminals. The user may select one configuration having the most perfect output quality and then set the multimedia apparatus to be operated under the selected configuration and associated connected terminal. Since connecting or setting the apparatus incorrectly can be effectively avoided, a user will not wonder what is wrong or even think that the multimedia apparatus has malfunctioned.

摘要: The present invention provides legal dissemination of multimedia content without DRM and without a threat of legal recourse. The present invention provides a system wherein a multimedia digital file is supplied with information (e.g., advertisements), regarding one or more of a consumer goods company's products or services. The multimedia file and accompanying information is disseminated, preferably for free, over a global communications network (e.g., the Internet), and preferably within the file-sharing community.

摘要: An electronic musical instrument with which, without difficulty to a user, it is possible to reproduce and save and the like the musical tones that the user has performed and to carry this out in units having musically satisfactory breaks. For each count of one beat by a beat counter, the time information for the musical tone data that are stored at that timing is stored in a beat time information table. When a skip-back button is operated during the recording, an address having a musically satisfactory break is acquired by computation based on the time information and the storage address of the operation timing, the time information of said table, and the sampling period. Therefore, even in those cases where optimization processing of the memory has been done during the recording, there is no need to update the storage address at that time. In addition, it is possible to carry out the reproduction and saving of beat units having musically satisfactory breaks by carrying out the reproduction and the saving at the storage address units that have been acquired.

摘要: Light emitting sections are provided in proximity to a plurality of performance operators that are provided, on the body of an electronic musical instrument, for performing tone-generation instructing operation corresponding to operation of strings on a natural musical instrument, and the light emitting sections illuminate the performance operators with controlled light emission. Thus, a human operator can visually identify the position of each performance operator to be operated with an enhanced visibility. Further, because the light emitting sections are provided in proximity to the performance operators to allow the instrument body to appear shining to persons viewing the human player playing the musical instrument, the persons can view the performance operation by the human player with an enhanced visibility.

摘要: A music playback unit for correcting the frequency characteristics of a speaker installed in a portable telephone, without using an equalizer. The musical score data is stored in the SMF memory, and data for correcting the velocity of musical score data for each velocity of each note is stored in a DB memory. The sound generator driver reads the musical score data from the SMF memory, and reads the correction data from the DB memory, and also corrects the velocity of the musical score data by substituting the musical score data and correction data in a predetermined calculation formula. The musical score data after the velocity is corrected is played by the MIDI sound generator, amplifier and speaker.

摘要: An automatic musical performance system stores musical data such as performance patterns and pattern sequences. During performance, the user provides input indicating tones to be added to or deleted from the musical performance, and the stored musical data is updated in accordance with the user input by adding or deleting the specified tones from the performance at the locations within the performance at which the user input for each tone was received.
