    摘要: The present disclosure relates to waveguide band-stop filter arrangement adapted to be connected to a waveguide transmission line at a filter interface, where the waveguide transmission line is adapted for a main propagation extension. The band-stop filter arrangement comprises a first pair of cavities, where each cavity in the first pair, each first pair cavity, comprises a corresponding inductive first pair aperture arrangement that is adapted to connect the corresponding first pair cavity to the waveguide transmission line. The first pair cavities are positioned adjacent each other along a stacking extension perpendicular to the main propagation extension such that they share a first common wall and are adapted to be positioned adjacent the waveguide transmission line. The first pair of cavities comprises a first capacitive aperture arrangement in the first common wall, mutually connecting the first pair cavities.

    摘要: Conventional coaxial wiring devices present a problem in that the management of the manufacturing process therefor is difficult. A coaxial wiring device according to the present invention includes a first member, a second member, and a conductor plate. The first member (10) and the second member (30) include, when a line that connects a first port and a second port is denoted by a reference line, a first groove (11) that has a central point on the reference line and extends in a direction that intersects with the reference line; a second groove (12) that connects one end (FN1) of the first groove (11) and the first port; a third groove (13) that connects the other end (FN2) of the first groove (11) and the first port and has a shape that is line symmetrical to the second groove (12) with respect to the reference line; a fourth groove (14) that connects one end (FN1) of the first groove (11) and the second port; and a fifth groove (15) that connects the other end (FN2) of the first groove (11) and the second port and has a shape that is line symmetrical to the fourth groove (14) with respect to the reference line.

    摘要: A transmitter of a feed network includes first and second branches and an integrated branch line coupler that couples the first and second branches. The integrated branch line coupler includes first and second waveguide reject filters in the first and second branches respectively. The first and second waveguide reject filters include one or more single-sided stubs protruding outwardly from outer faces of the first and second waveguide reject filters. The integrated branch line coupler further includes one or more couplers that are coupled between inner faces of the first and second waveguide reject filters. The transmitter includes a core waveguide that is coupled to the first and second branches. The transmitter receives a linearly polarized signal from an input port of the first or second branches and generates a circularly polarized signal in the core waveguide.

    摘要: A microwave filter based on the combination of dual-mode and single-mode cavities. The single-mode cavity symmetrically extends from the dual-mode cavity with respect to the symmetric reference plane to form the so called extended doublet network. The microwave filter in extended-doublet configuration exhibit high frequency selectivity since it has a pair of finite frequency transmission zeros on the upper and lower stopband. The design concept can also be applied to build higher order filters.

    摘要: To reduce the losses, high Tc superconductive waveguide filters are disclosed. There are two approaches to make the filters. In the first approach, all waveguide sections, irises, flanges are made of a single crystal high Tc superconductor. The single crystal is machined to the desired shape and size, the pieces are brazed and connected with flanges. In the second approach all waveguide sections, irises and flanges are made of a single crystal dielectric material the conducting surfaces of which are deposited with a film of a single crystal high Tc superconductor. The waveguide sections, irises and flanges are connected together by brazing or by a similar method. There are two basic types, (1) band pass and (2) band reject, of filters. In the band pass type, a series of resonators are placed one after another with a separation, typically, of three quarters of a wavelength between the centers of adjacent resonators. In the band reject filters, the resonators are in branch lines, i.e., on the broad wall of the main waveguide with a separation, typically, of three quarters of a wavelength between the centers of adjacent resonators.

    摘要: A probe coupled waveguide multiplexer is provided including a first waveguide which serves as a multiplexing manifold; a second waveguide, having a cavity, typically a filter, which is probe coupled to the first waveguide; and a third waveguide which has a cavity and is probe coupled to the first waveguide such that the probe of said third waveguide is diametrically opposed to the probe of said second waveguide and the second and third waveguides are mounted in the same transverse plane in co-planar relation. The probe coupling method and apparatus disclosed herein allows the waveguide filters to be mounted on the manifold in a close physical relation thereby minimizing the length of the manifold and associated costs.

    摘要: A channel diplexer composed of a semicircular waveguide and cylindrical cavity resonators is disclosed. The diplexer is characterized in that a plurality of coupling apertures are provided in the common conductor wall between the waveguide and the resonators to couple mutual electromagnetic energies at the conductor wall so that at least one unnecessary resonant mode other than the desired resonant mode in the cavity resonators is prevented. This is accomplished by the mutual positional relationship of the coupling apertures.
