    摘要: The invention relates generally to edge detection and presentation in thermal images. Infrared and visible light images comprising at least partially overlapping target scenes are analyzed. An edge detection process is performed on the visible light image to determine which pixels represent edges in the target scene. A display image is generated in which some pixels include infrared image data and in which pixels corresponding to edges in the visible light image include a predetermined color and do not include corresponding infrared image data to emphasize edges. Edge pixels in the display image can include exclusively the predetermined color, or in some examples, a blend of a predetermined color and visible light image data. Methods can include replacing one or the other of visible light edge pixels or corresponding infrared pixels with the predetermined color before combining the visible light and infrared image data to create a display image.

If an instruction for multiple angle reproduction was input, a second angle is sequentially changed and a data of the second angle is reproduced.

    摘要: A method of color data mapping in color video signal recording to a video disc. A predetermined different number of color data are mapped onto first and second color maps respectively. Each data is expressed by color gradation in different format between the maps. The format of the gradation in the first map is converted into the format of the gradation in the second map. A difference is taken between the gradation of the colors in the same format between the maps. The difference is then compared with a reference quantity. The color in the first map is judged as to whether it is the same as or close to the color in the second map in color solid if the difference is smaller than the reference quantity. The color data are then mapped onto a third color map onto which no color data is mapped, if the judgment is made.

    摘要: This invention concerns a method of recording wide-band signals on a thermoplastic film. The signal to be recorded is converted to an intensity modulation of a beam of electrons which is directed at the surface of a thin thermoplastic film carried on a conductive substrate. The film is rotated in its own plane and simultaneously translated so that the beam scans the film in a track which follows a spiral path. The deposition of charge produces after heating of the film a spatial modulation of the film. The intensity of the beam and the beam's impingement on the film is controlled in order that the charge pattern is appropriate for the formation of a spiral groove which is substantially invariant in cross-section but varies in depth along its direction of progression in accordance with the signal that modulates the intensity of the beam of electrons. The recording thus made can be used for the production of video discs capable of mechanical playback.
