摘要: It is a purpose of the present invention to provide a wire electrical discharge machining system allowing a wire electrical discharge machining device and a robot to operate in conjunction with each other with high efficiency. A wire electrical discharge machining system 1 includes wire electrical discharge machining devices 7, 11, and 15, and a robot unit 17 that mounts a workpiece on the wire electrical discharge machining device. The wire electrical discharge machining devices 7, 11, and 15 may each perform either rough machining with supported cores or finishing machining after the cores are removed. Subsequently, core processing may be performed by means of a corresponding dedicated apparatus. Also, the core processing may be performed by means of a single common apparatus. The robot unit 17 mounts and collects the workpiece so as to allow these wire electrical discharge machining apparatuses to effectively operate, thereby providing wire electrical discharge machining with improved efficiency for the overall system.

摘要: To provide a wire electrical discharge machine for which the machining precision of corner parts and corner exit parts in a workpiece are improved. A wire electrical discharge machine includes a machining path compensation unit which compensates a machining path, in a case of creating a corner part which is a circular arc as a second machining block, by compensating a position of a center of the circular arc of the second machining block by way of a first compensation vector calculated based on at least one indicator among the four indicators of deflection of a wire electrode, etc., and inserting a linear first compensation block between an end point of the first machining block and a start point of a second machining block which was compensated, and by eliminating a predetermined distance from the start point of a third machining block, creates a starting point of this third machining block, and then inserts a second compensation block between the end point of the compensated second machining block and the created starting point of the first machining block.

In this way, a wire connecting operation can be performed in the vicinity of the tapered groove.

摘要: A machining path creating device for wire electric discharge machines creates a machining path for machining a keyway in a side surface of a round hole. The machining path creating unit compares a “keyway depth” and a diameter of the round hole input by an operator. The machining path creating device determines that the input “keyway depth” is a cut depth when the input “keyway depth” is smaller than the diameter of the round hole and that a value obtained by subtracting the diameter of the round hole from the input “keyway depth” is the cut depth when the input “keyway depth” is larger than the diameter of the round hole.

摘要: A wire electrical discharge machine for detecting an end face of an object, configured so that when a contact detection movement is started and if contact between the wire electrode and the workpiece is detected, positions in which the contact between the wire electrode and the workpiece is detected are stored as contact detection positions and that when a non-contact detection movement is then started and if non-contact between the wire electrode and the workpiece is detected, positions in which the non-contact between the wire electrode and the workpiece is detected are stored as non-contact detection positions. When it is determined whether or not a set number of times of execution is reached and if the set number of times of execution is reached, a reference position is obtained by adding the radius of the wire electrode and a clearance of the wire guide to an end face determination position.
