摘要: A method of operating a mold assembly having a plurality of liner plates forming a mold cavity. The method includes driving a master drive element back and forth in a continuous loop about at least a portion of exterior perimeter sides of the mold cavity to provide a first and second linear forces in first and second directions substantially in parallel with each perimeter side of the mold cavity about which the primary drive element is routed, and driving a secondary drive element, which engages the at least one moveable liner plate, with the first and second linear forces to drive at least one moveable liner plate toward and away from the interior of the mold cavity.

摘要: Concrete elements and a lifting mechanism are secured against tilting at the time of form removal, and the formwork is fixed in place. In the apparatus, a forming unit, a concreting unit and a form removal unit are provided. The forming unit has a single rigid form adapted to shape the bottom and the sides of the elements or products, is open on top and is assembled for use as required. The form removal unit has means for maintaining the product and the removal unit itself in a fixed position against tilting, as well as means for maintaining the formwork in a fixed position, and means for actuating them.

摘要: Closed cell foamed polystyrene beads are shredded to form small size, open-celled foam particles. The particles are mixed with a slurry of a granulate and a liquid whereby the slurry enters the open cells to increase the density of the particles. After an even distribution of the particles throughout the slurry is obtained the mixture is dried to form granulate objects, such as boards, having an even distribution of foamed polystyrene particles therein to reduce the density of the object.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for tightening a bolt connection through elongation of the bolt where strokes of a power element, especially a hydraulic cylinder, are converted into a rotational movement of a tightening tool. The method according to an embodiment of the present invention is carried out in at least two steps. As a first step, the bolt is first tightened to a predetermined snug torque. As a second step, the bolt is then tightened up through a predetermined number of complete strokes of the power element of the power wrench. In this way, a torque method is combined with a rotational angle method that is controlled by the number of strokes.

摘要: New light, strong, non-shrinking cellular concrete having good thermal and acoustic insulating properties prepared by incorporating aluminum and an alkaline agent capable of producing a gas when reacted with the aluminum within an anhydrite binder, placing the mixture in a mold, and permitting it to expand to a cellular product and cure. The products are useful as building materials. The invention includes the production of building elements comprising the cellular anhydrite product as described above adhered to at least one layer of a substantially non-cellular or dense facing layer made with an anhydrite binder or sandwiched between and adhered to non-cellular facing layers both made with an anhydrite binder.

摘要: THIS INVENTION RELATES TO NOVEL INORGANIC REFACTORY FOAMS, THEIR PRECURSORS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE. THE FOAMS ARE FORMED BY HEATING A FILLER, UNSATURATED POLYESTER FOAM CONTAINING A REFACTORY FILLER, A FLUXING AGENT WHICH IS A COMPOUND OF A METAL OF THE FIRST AND SECOND GROUPS OF THE PERIODIC TABLE AND, IF DESIRED, A HEAT RESISTANT FIBROUS MATERIAL, THEREBY CONSUMING THE POLYESTER BINDER TO PRODUCE THE INORGANIC FOAM. ALTERNATIVELY, THE BINDER MAY BE REDUCED TO A CARBONACEOUS STATE TO PROVIDE AN INSULATIVE MATERIAL USEFUL PER SE AS A PRECUSOR FOR THE INORGANIC FOAMS.
