摘要: A vehicle includes a front differential, a pair of constant-velocity joints, and a steering mechanism. The steering mechanism includes a pitman arm, a pair of tie rods, a pair of first link arms each connecting the pitman arm with a corresponding one of the pair of tie rods, and a pair of second link arms each connecting a corresponding one of the pair of first link arms with a body frame. In a plan view, at least a portion of each constant-velocity joint is located between first and second straight lines extending in a fore-aft direction and through first and second connectors extending between the tie rods and the first link arms. The first connector, the second connector, and at least a portion of each constant-velocity joint are located between third and fourth straight lines extending between the first and second link arms.

摘要: A track assembly is to be mounted on a drive axle of a vehicle. The track assembly has a frame, at least one leading idler wheel mounted to the front of the frame for rotation about a transverse leading idler wheel axis, at least one trailing idler wheel mounted to the rear of the frame for rotation about a traverse trailing idler wheel axis parallel to the leading idler wheel axis, a single drive wheel assembly, and at least two slide rails. The slide rails have corresponding forward-facing portions, central portions, and rearward-facing portions. The forward-facing portions project from the front ends of the central portions by a projection that is greater than a length of the central portions. A vehicle having the track assembly is also encompassed. A kit of track assemblies is also encompassed.

摘要: A powered wheeled riding device is configured to receive left and right foot inputs from a user and in response control a left motor and a right motor to move respective left and right wheels forwardly and backwardly consistent with the left and right foot inputs in order to steer the device without changing a direction of the wheels relative to a frame of the riding device. The riding device has at least one rear wheel that is not powered. The rear wheel is mounted on a wheel mount that rotates freely about a vertical axis so that the rear wheel freely is directed in any direction.
