摘要: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for regenerating a hydrogenation catalyst with reduced water consumption and/or shortened overall regeneration time. The method can include contacting a fouled hydrogenation catalyst with a first flushing medium comprising water and a gaseous phase comprising oxygen and optionally a second flushing medium comprising water and a gaseous phase comprising at least 90% nitrogen by volume. The method can further include treating the effluents of the flushing mediums by ion exchange resin to remove impurities in the effluents.

摘要: Paraffin compositions including mainly even carbon number paraffins, and a method for manufacturing the same, is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the method involves contacting naturally occurring fatty acid/glycerides with hydrogen in a slurry bubble column reactor containing bimetallic catalysts with equivalent particle diameters from about 10 to about 400 micron. The even carbon number compositions are particularly useful as phase change material.

摘要: Processes for producing olefins include integration of steam cracking with a dual catalyst metathesis process. The processes include steam cracking a hydrocarbon feed to form a cracking reaction effluent containing butenes, separating the cracking reaction effluent to produce a cracking C4 effluent including normal butenes, isobutene, and 1,3-butadiene, subjecting the cracking C4 effluent to selective hydrogenation to convert 1,3-butadiene in the cracking C4 effluent to normal butenes, removing isobutene from a hydrogenation effluent to produce a metathesis feed containing normal butenes, and contacting the metathesis feed with a metathesis catalyst and a cracking catalyst directly downstream of the metathesis catalyst to produce a metathesis reaction effluent. Contacting with the metathesis catalyst causes metathesis of normal butenes to produce ethylene, propene, and C5+ olefins, and contacting with the cracking catalyst causes C5+ olefins produced through metathesis to undergo cracking reactions to produce additional propene, ethylene, or both.

摘要: Herein is provided a process for combined renewable 1-decene and renewable carboxylic diacid production from a fatty acid ester containing feedstock, wherein the feedstock is first subjected to metathesis reaction conditions, recovery of 1-decene and then to microbial oxidation to yield diacids in a fermentation broth. Diacids of unusual carbon chains lengths are thereby obtainable.

摘要: A method for converting an alcohol to a hydrocarbon, the method comprising contacting said alcohol with a metal-loaded zeolite catalyst at a temperature of at least 100° C. and up to 550° C., wherein said alcohol can be produced by a fermentation process, said metal is a positively-charged metal ion, and said metal-loaded zeolite catalyst is catalytically active for converting said alcohol to said hydrocarbon.

The fluidized bed regenerator includes a second activation zone, a first activation zone, and a gas-solid separation zone from bottom to top; the second activation zone axially communicates with the gas-solid separation zone; the first activation zone is arranged on a periphery of a junction between the second activation zone and the gas-solid separation zone; the first activation zone is an annular cavity; n baffles are radially arranged in the first activation zone, and the n baffles divide the first activation zone into n first activation zone subzones; and a catalyst circulation hole is formed in each of n−1 of the baffles such that a catalyst entering the first activation zone flows in an annular direction.
