    摘要: In a system where phase separation into two phases occurs when an ether cellulose derivative (A), a polymer (B) different from the ether cellulose derivative (A), and an alcohol solvent (C) are mixed together, the two phases including a solution phase mainly containing the ether cellulose derivative (A) and a solution phase mainly containing the polymer (B), the two separated phases containing approximately the same solvent, an emulsion is formed and brought into contact with a poor solvent (D) to provide an ether cellulose derivative microparticle having an average particle diameter of 1 to 1,000 μm, a linseed oil absorption of 50 to 1,000 mL/100 g, and an average surface pore size of 0.05 to 5 μm.

    摘要: Novel cellulose derivative, process for preparing the same and sulfur dioxide gas permselective membrane comprising said derivative.Hydrocarbysulfinylethyl cellulose represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein, X may be the same or different and represents hydrogen atom or hydrocarbylsulfinylethyl group represented by the formula (II): ##STR2## wherein, R may be the same or different and represents an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a phenyl group,with the average substitution degree with the hydrocarbylsulfinylethyl group of the formula (II) per glucose unit being at least 0.05, and sulfur dioxide gas permeation membrane comprising said cellulose derivative. This membrane is excellent in sulfur dioxide gas permselectivity.

    摘要: A method for producing products for separation, ion exchange or as basic material for the preparation of various derivatives designed for separation purposes and adsorption purposes by means of a polymer being activated with a reagent containing at least two bifunctional groups so that at least one of the reactive, functional groups in each molecule is bonded to the polymer while leaving a considerable amount of remaining groups unreacted but still reactive so that the activated polymer can be caused to react with thiosulphate after surplus reagent has been eliminated. The invention also relates to the produced products or their derivatives consisting of a water-soluble hydroxyl group or amino group containing polymer substituted with organic side-chains, each containing one or more thiosulphate groups or derivatives of such groups and the use of the products for purification of water, separation, immobilization of enzymes, etc.
