摘要: Stable star-structured functional polyolefins and methods of making them, the functional polyolefins comprising a polyolefin bound at any position along its chain length to at least one nucleophile-containing silane of the following formula: wherein Y is a di- or trivalent linker group selected from heteroatoms, C1 to C10 alkylenes, and other groups disclosed herein; Nu is a nucleophilic atom or unsaturation group; R5 is selected from hydrogen, and C1 to C10 alkyls, and other groups as disclosed herein; X is a divalent group selected from linear and branched alkylenes and heteroatom-alkylenes, and other groups as disclosed herein; and PO is a polyolefin having a weight average molecular weight of at least 400 g/mole; with the proviso that at least one of R1, R2, and R3 is selected from the same or different functional polyolefin moieties. Star-structured functional polyolefins are useful as filler dispersive additives in tire formulations and processing aids.

摘要: According to the present invention, a power module that has a base to which a power semiconductor device is bonded and a sealing body for sealing said base and in which the base and the sealing body are bonded with a primer layer interposed therebetween, said primer layer being formed of a cured product of a silicone-modified polyimide resin composition containing, for example, components (A) to (E) below, has high reliability because delamination of an epoxy sealing resin under high temperature conditions is suppressed.
(A) Silicone-modified polyimide resin represented by formula (1) Ee-Ff-Gg (1) E is represented by formula (2), F is represented by formula (3), G is a divalent group derived from diamine, f+e+g=100 mol %, the molar ratio f/(e+g) is 0.9-1.1, and e is 1-90 when the sum of e and g is 100. RA is a divalent hydrocarbon group, R1 and R2 are alkyl groups, R3 and R4 are monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon groups, R5 and R6 are aryl groups or the like, m is an integer of 0-20, n is an integer of 1-20, o is an integer of 0-20, and m+n+o is an integer of 1-30. -Im-X-Im- (3) Im is a cyclic group including a cyclic imide structure, and X is a single bond or the like.

摘要: Disclosed is a coating composition suitable for coating onto a wall or other substrate to yield a dry-erase coating, The composition may be prepared by reacting an excess amount of an aminosilane with a carbonate, an epoxy alcohol, or both in aqueous media to yield a silylurethane, and/or a silylamino polyol. In some approaches, the compositions and/or methods may further include an epoxysilane, and allowing the epoxysilane to react with the aminosilane to yield an aminodisilane. This reaction will result in a coating composition that comprises one of a silylurethane, a silylamino polyol, or both, and the aminodisilane. The aqueous mixture of the silylurethane, the silylamino polyol, or both, and the aminodisilane together constitute a coating composition that, upon curing, forms a dry-erase coating.

摘要: Crosslinked aminosiloxanes obtainable by reaction of identical or different aminosiloxanes with identical or different epoxide components which are water-soluble hydrocarbons, the hydrocarbons comprising oxygen as well as carbon, and optionally further elements selected from nitrogen, sulphur and phosphorus, the hydrocarbon having on average more than one terminal epoxy group, the epoxy group being a carbooxirane radical, and, further, not more than 50% of all the amino groups having undergone reaction with an epoxide group.
