摘要: Methods for forming a latex are provided. In an embodiment, such a method comprises adding a monomer emulsion comprising water, a monomer, an acidic monomer, a multifunctional monomer, a first reactive surfactant, and a chain transfer agent, to a reactive surfactant solution comprising water, a second reactive surfactant, and an initiator, at a feed rate over a period of time so that monomers of the monomer emulsion undergo polymerization reactions to form resin particles in a latex, wherein the reactive surfactant solution does not comprise monomers other than the second reactive surfactant, the reactive surfactant solution does not comprise a resin seed, and the monomer emulsion does not comprise the resin seed. The latexes are also provided.

摘要: A first object of the present invention is to provide a stretchable conductor sheet that exhibits isotropic conductivity when stretched in a predetermined direction or in a direction perpendicular to the predetermined direction, and a paste for forming a stretchable conductor sheet, which is used for the stretchable conductor sheet. A second object of the present invention is to provide a stretchable conductor sheet having a small change in specific resistance even when repeatedly twisted, and a paste for forming a stretchable conductor sheet, which is used for the stretchable conductor sheet. A third object of the present invention is to provide a stretchable conductor sheet having a small change in specific resistance even when repeatedly washed, and a paste for forming a stretchable conductor sheet, which is used for the stretchable conductor sheet. The first object of the present invention can accomplish a stretchable conductor sheet having a thickness of 3 to 800 μm, the stretchable conductor sheet comprising at least conductive particles, inorganic particles surface-treated with a hydroxide and/or an oxide of one or both of Al and Si, and a flexible resin having a tensile elastic modulus of 1 MPa or more and 1000 MPa or less, wherein in each of two orthogonal directions, a specific resistance change ratio of the sheet at a time of elongation by 40% with respect to an original length is less than ±10% in an elongation direction.

摘要: Provided are compositions and associated methods for producing elastomeric rubber gloves with improved strength and flexibility at desirable glove palm thicknesses. An example elastomeric rubber glove comprises a substrate formed from a composition comprising a synthetic rubber latex, and an ionic liquid. The ionic liquid may comprise a combination of one or more alkyl imidazole ionic salts. The composition may comprise one or more metal oxides, including at least one of zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, cadmium oxide, and aluminum oxide. The synthetic rubber latex compositions were found to yield a material with strength and flexibility characteristics comparable to natural latex gloves of a greater thickness. The described gloves may also be cured without the addition of Sulphur and other vulcanization or rubber accelerators, further reducing the risk of allergies and costs of production.

摘要: A rubber composition for a tire contains 100 parts by mass of a diene rubber (A) and from 1 to 60 parts by mass of an organic microparticle (B); an average particle size of the organic microparticle (B) being from 0.001 to 100 μm, the organic microparticle (B) having a complex structure composed of a compatible component that is compatible with the diene rubber (A) and an incompatible component that is not compatible with the diene rubber (A), the complex structure having an inner part in which an amount of the incompatible component is greater than an amount of compatible component, and an outer part which covers at least a part of the inner part and in which the amount of the compatible component is greater than an amount of the incompatible component. A pneumatic tire including such rubber composition has a desirable elongation, rigidity, durability, and wear resistance.

摘要: Provided are processes for making a polymer composition comprising (i) providing a multistage polymer latex by emulsion polymerization in the presence of a phosphate surfactant, wherein the multistage polymer comprises (a) a first stage polymer having a Tg of −20° C. or lower, and (b) a final stage polymer having a Tg of 50° C. or higher, (ii) coagulating the multistage polymer latex, (iii) treating the coagulated multistage polymer with an alkaline phosphate, (iv) drying the coagulated multistage polymer to a water content of less than 1 weight % based on the dry weight of the multistage polymer, wherein the weight of the dried multistage polymer comprises 100 ppm or more, based on the dry weight of the multistage polymer, of phosphorous that is in the form of an alkaline phosphate. Also provided are processes for making matrix resin compositions comprising such polymer compositions and a matrix resin.

摘要: A peer to peer dynamic network acceleration method and apparatus provide enhanced communications directly between two or more enhanced devices, such as enhanced clients. The enhanced clients may comprise a front-end, a back-end, or both. In general, the front-end and back-end of the enhanced clients work in concert to translate data into an enhanced protocol for communication between the enhanced clients. The enhanced protocol may provide acceleration, security, error correction, and other benefits. Data from various applications may be seamlessly translated between a first protocol and the enhanced protocol, such that the applications need not be modified to use the enhanced protocol. The enhanced clients may automatically detect one another to establish an enhanced communications channel automatically.

摘要: A nanoparticle includes a copolymer comprising a vinyl-aromatic monomer and a heterocyclic monomer. The copolymer is crosslinked with a multifunctional crosslinking agent polymerizable through an addition reaction. A nanoparticle and elastomer composition is disclosed. Several methods of mixing heterocyclic and non-heterocyclic monomer nanoparticles into an elastomer are also disclosed. These methods include mixing in a multi-elements static mixer and an intermeshing mixer with venting, among others.
