摘要: The present invention is directed to methods and systems for manufacturing molded fiber products using a pulp slurry and apparatus submerged in pulp slurry. The system utilizes a vacuum and mesh shaping of the product to pull fiber from the pulp slurry to the mesh shape while sucking the water through the mesh shape. The molded fiber product is then pressed to bolster the strength and structure of the product. The product is then coated using centripetal force to uniformly spread the coating across the selected area of the product. After coating, the product is pressed again to ensure the waterproof and airproof structure of the product. The materials used in manufacturing the molded fiber product are biodegradable, and the apparatus to form the molded fiber product is shaped according to the desired shape and size of the product.

摘要: A fiber molding system for manufacturing molded parts made from environmentally friendly, degradable fiber material using a fiber molding process is disclosed. The system includes at least one first pulp reservoir; a suction tool attached to a movement unit, which as a multi-tool comprises a plurality of suction heads, each with a three-dimensionally shaped suction head suction side adapted to a contour of the molded part to be molded, and which is designed to use at least a first partially immersing of the suction tool into the first pulp and sucking the fiber material onto the respective suction head suction sides of the suction heads using negative pressure from the first pulp to form the molded part in the suction heads; an output unit for outputting the final molded part, and a control unit adapted to carry out the method on the fiber molding system.

摘要: The composite structure includes a fiber-containing layer, such as a fiberboard layer or other layer having fibers from natural and/or synthetic sources, and a mineral-containing layer covering the fiber-containing layer. The fiber-containing layer and mineral-containing layer can be shaped, sized and manufactured such that the composite structure formed therefrom is capable of being machined to form a storage article. The composite structure has advantages in that it can improve whiteness, opacity, ink adhesion, materials reduction, barrier properties, recyclability, and printability. The composite can reduce polymer mass requirements for heat seal, barrier, and fiber adhesion. Further improvements include economics, pliability, and flexibility that is increased over the pliability of the fiber-containing layer alone.
