摘要: A gas-cycle system operable using a Bell-Coleman cycle, the gas-cycle system comprising an expander (23) and a compressor (27) incorporated in a flow path (13). The expander (23) and compressor (27) are integrated in a rotary machine (41), and each comprises a rotor assembly (70) configured to define one or more zones (80) each of which changes continuously in volume during a rotation cycle of the rotor assembly. The expander (23) and compressor (27) are drivingly interconnected whereby rotational drive applied to one is transmitted directly to the other. Each rotor assembly (70) comprises an inner rotor (73) and an outer rotor (75) adapted to rotate about parallel axes at different rotational speeds. The inner rotors (73) are each drivingly connected to a common shaft for rotation therewith. The two outer rotors (75) are coupled together such that rotational drive applied to one is transmitted directly to the other. An air-cycle system and an air conditioning system (10) based on the gas-cycle system are also disclosed.

The drive means (22) connects the working engine (16) to the compressor (12) such that operation of the working engine (16) causes operation of the compressor (12).

摘要: A scroll fluid machine comprises an orbiting scroll and front and rear stationary scrolls. The orbiting scroll is driven by a driving shaft via an eccentric portion and has front and rear orbiting scroll wraps. The front and rear stationary scroll have front and rear orbiting scroll wraps respectively. The orbiting scroll is revolved by the driving shaft with respect to the stationary scrolls while the front and rear orbiting scroll wraps are engaged with the front and rear stationary scroll wraps to create front compressing and rear expanding sections. Fluid expanded and cooled in the expanding section is used for cooling parts of the machine.

摘要: An apparatus is disclosed for adapting an internal combustion engine for operation on compressed air. The apparatus includes a source of compressed air, valving means for introducing the correct amount of air into the cylinders and valve actuation means to cause timed opening of the valve means for introducing compressed air to the appropriate cylinders at the correct time. The apparatus is constructed so that it can be readily mounted on or removed from the engine thereby allowing portability from one engine to another or conversion of the engine back to operation on a combustible fuel.

摘要: In at least one aspect, this disclosure relates to a wellsite pump for a well site having a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation. The well site has a conduit to pass a wellsite fluid about the wellsite. The wellsite pump includes a housing having an intake and an outtake, at least one hydraulic motor to pump the wellsite fluid from the intake and through the outtake, at least one driver coupled to the hydraulic motor and movable therewith, and a power source. The intake is in fluid communication with the conduit, and the outtake is positioned a distance upstream of the intake. The hydraulic motor includes a rotor and a stator. The power source drives the driver and the hydraulic motor coupled thereto whereby the wellsite fluid is advance from the conduit to a location upstream therefrom.

摘要: Power-generation systems including a power plant and a power conversion unit including an energy recovery device and volumetric compressor are disclosed. In one embodiment, the volumetric fluid compressor has first and second meshed rotors and is configured to generate a stream of relatively high-pressure fluid including oxygen to the power plant. In one embodiment, the volumetric fluid energy recovery device having third and fourth meshed rotors, operatively connected to the compressor, and configured to be rotated by the exhaust gas or other fluid deriving energy from the exhaust gas. The system can additionally include a set of timing gears configured to operatively connect the first and second rotors of the compressor to the third and fourth rotors of the energy recovery device, and prevent contact between the first and second rotors and between the third and fourth rotors. The system may also include a rotation transferring link for operative connection between the compressor and the energy recovery device.
