    摘要: A torque transmitting device for transmitting torque between a first drive element and an output element, having a torque transmitting unit with a housing delimiting a first fluid chamber filled with a liquid, and a separating clutch arranged outside of the torque transmitting unit and the first fluid chamber in a second fluid chamber separated from the first chamber and which selectively transmits torque between the first drive element and the torque transmitting unit. The separating clutch has a clutch output that is connectable to a clutch input via a friction device and a clutch actuator that comprises a pressing element and an actuation element to which fluid pressure can be applied to move the actuation element. The pressing element is arranged within the second fluid chamber, and the actuation element is at least partly arranged within the first fluid chamber so that pressure is applied thereto by fluid pressure.

    摘要: A wet clutch system includes fluid-flow apertures in the clutch piston which allow for reduction of oil shear forces between rotating clutch plates and a stationary piston. In particular the apertures pass through the piston in the area of the piston's engagement with the clutch plates. When the piston is in its deactivated position and spaced from the clutch plates, the radially-outward position of these apertures allows high-pressure, centrifugally-driven clutch fluid to migrate away from the clutch plates through the piston to a backfill cavity on the opposite side of the piston. An air-inlet aperture may be provided in or near the clutch hub to facilitate this oil migration.

    摘要: A hydrokinetic torque-coupling device for a hybrid electric vehicle, comprising a casing rotatable about a rotational axis, a torque converter including an impeller wheel and a turbine wheel, a lockup clutch including a dual piston assembly, and a selective clutch disposed outside of the casing. The selective clutch includes an input member and an output member non-rotatably mounted to the casing. The dual piston assembly includes a main piston and at least one secondary piston mounted to the main piston and axially moveable relative thereto. The main piston is selectively axially moveable relative to the casing and the at least one secondary piston between a lockup position and a non-lockup position. The output member is selectively axially moveable relative to the input member between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The output member selectively is axially moveable by action of the at least one secondary piston.

    摘要: A torque-coupling device for coupling driving and driven shafts. The torque-coupling device comprises a casing having a locking surface, a torque converter, a locking piston having an engagement surface axially movable to and from the locking surface of the casing and a torsional vibration damper. The torsional vibration damper comprises a torque input member and a unitary radially elastic output member elastically coupled to the torque input member. The torque input member includes a radially oriented first retainer plate and at least one supporting member mounted thereto. The output member includes an output hub and an elastic leaf configured to elastically engage the supporting member upon rotation of the first retainer plate with respect to the output member. The output hub is configured for directly and non-rotatably engaging a driven shaft. The locking piston is non-rotatably connected to the torque input member of the torsional vibration damper.
