摘要： A housing includes an accommodation space for a prime mover and a speed reducer. A rotational translation unit includes a rotation portion that rotates relative to the housing upon receiving torque outputted from the speed reducer, and a translation portion that moves relative to the housing in an axial direction according to rotation of the rotation portion. The accommodation space is between the rotation portion and the housing. A clutch in a clutch space allows or interrupts transmission of torque between a first transmission portion and a second transmission portion. The rotation portion is between the clutch space and the accommodation space. A sealing member has an annular shape in contact with the rotation portion, and maintains an air-tight or liquid-tight state between the accommodation space and the clutch space.

摘要： A method of etching a surface of a metal clutch part for bonding of friction includes etching, by a laser, a plurality of craters into a specified etching area of the surface of the metal clutch part. The specified etching area is defined by an outer circumference and an inner circumference. The craters define an etch pattern on the surface. The laser follows a predefined path during the etching to generate the etch pattern. The path is one of a plurality of radially aligned and circumferentially overlapping figure eights, each of the figure eights extending from the outer circumference of the specified etching area to the inner circumference of the specified etching area; a plurality of rows of circumferentially aligned and radially overlapping figure eights extending from the outer circumference of the specified etching area to the inner circumference of the specified etching area; or a plurality of circumferentially spaced radially extending lines extending from the outer circumference of the specified etching area to the inner circumference of the specified etching area. The method also includes bonding the friction material to the metal clutch part on the etch pattern.

A winch assembly may be provided that includes an arm in operable connection with a winch drum. The arm is displaced as the effective radius of the drum varies during reeling in or reeling out. Displacement of the arm can be communicated to the plunger to provide the axial displacement thereof.

摘要： A damping pulley assembly including a pulley with an outer flange having splines on an inner side thereof and a fixed pulley plate extending inwardly therefrom. A floating pulley clutch plate having spline receiving notches is located within the outer flange, with the notches engaged with the splines. Circumferentially spaced apart leaf springs are connected to a pulley hub and second ends of the leaf springs all extend in a first circumferential direction. Second ends of the leaf springs are connected to a driven hub that includes a fixed hub plate. A floating hub clutch plate having spline receiving notches is arranged on splines of the driven hub. The floating clutch plates are located between the fixed pulley plate and the fixed hub plate, which is biased toward the fixed pulley plate by the leaf springs so that the clutch plates contact one another and/or the fixed hub or pulley plates.

A first sensor detects the position (P1) of a first component of a driveline which is situated before the clutch and a second sensor detects the position (P2) of a second component of the driveline which is situated after the clutch. A control unit stores at least one measured value which is related to a mutual angle (AREF) between the first component and the second component when a gear is engaged in the gearbox, and initiates an engine control action such that the mutual angle (AREF) between the first component and the second component is rectified before the gear is disengaged.

摘要： A friction clutch assembly has a clutch housing, at least one first friction plate, which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the clutch housing and can be displaced in axial direction therein, and a second friction plate, which bears the clutch housing. At least one driver disk is arranged axially adjacent to the first and second friction plates and has friction linings on both sides, which interact with the friction plates, and a spring which can apply a compressive force for actuation of the clutch to the at least one first friction plate. At least one of the friction plates is made at least in part from a metal matrix and at least one nonmetallic foreign phase included in the matrix, which together form a metal matrix composite material. In a further aspect of the invention, the clutch housing is likewise formed from a metal matrix composite material.
