The auxiliary transmission includes an auxiliary-transmission-side planetary gear mechanism, a first clutch, and a second clutch. The auxiliary-transmission-side planetary gear mechanism is provided between a pair of main-transmission-side planetary gear mechanisms, and a part of the auxiliary-transmission-side planetary gear mechanism is located within the main transmission. The first clutch fixes rotation of a sun gear of the auxiliary-transmission-side planetary gear mechanism. The second clutch connects a ring gear of the auxiliary-transmission-side planetary gear mechanism with the sun gear.

    摘要: A control apparatus for an automatic transmission includes an ECU. The ECU stores a N−1 speed downshift/a N−2 speed downshift/a N−1 speed upshift/and a hysteresis lines. The hysteresis line is a predetermined distance above the N−1 speed upshift line, and is below the N−2 speed downshift line. The ECU controls the speed of the automatic transmission based on a quantity of state of a vehicle, and the plurality of stored shift lines, and execute, when an N speed is established, a first downshift that changes a speed from the N speed to an N−2 speed, when the quantity of state of the vehicle is in a region above the hysteresis line, after the quantity of state of the vehicle has risen above the N−1 speed downshift line.

    摘要: A method of generating shift schedules for a vehicle having a transmission with a plurality of gears includes providing a plurality of a transmission operational modes categorized by ratios of available traction power after a transmission gear shift compared to available traction power before the transmission gear shift. Based on the list of available traction power the available traction power is determined for each of the plurality of gears over a range of engine speeds. This includes adjusting for parasitic losses and dynamic de-rate conditions at each engine speed datum point. Shift schedules are generated for shifts between gears of the transmission for at least a first transmission operational mode in terms of ratios of available traction power before and after gear shifts.
