摘要: [Purpose] A belt drive system, in which a drive belt 20 is wrapped between a drive pulley 1 drivingly connected to a drive source 11 and a driven pulley 2 connected to an driven unit 12 via a joint 32 provided to stop torque transmission when receiving a load equal to or over a predetermined value and torque is transmitted via the drive belt 20 from the drive pulley 1 to the driven pulley 2, ensures that when the driven unit 12 malfunctions, the joint 32 stops the torque transmission without unnecessarily increasing the coefficient of friction against the driven pulley 2 or the belt tension.[Solution] The belt drive system is configured so that when a slip corresponding to the load on the joint 32 equal to or over the predetermined value occurs between the drive belt 20 and the driven pulley 2, the coefficient of friction between the drive belt 20 and the driven pulley 2 becomes higher than that before the slip occurs.

摘要: A control system for use in an HVAC unit comprises a circular pulley, a semi-circular pulley, and a cable interconnecting the pulleys to rotate a spur gear. A flange extends about the periphery of the semi-circular pulley and pulley gear teeth extend radially inwardly from the flange and engage the spur gear teeth. The spur gear is rotatably supported on a gear shaft which extends through a slot in the semi-circular pulley that extends arcuately between two slot ends. The slot is spaced radially between the flange and a support shaft of the semi-circular pulley thereby allowing the semi-circular pulley and the spur gear to overlap to attain compact packaging of the system.

摘要: A rotary actuator assembly of the type for longitudinally moving a flexible motion transmitting core element to transmit motion in a curved path. The assembly includes a housing comprising a base and a cover which are snapped together and wherein the base and cover are made of plastic. An annular axle portion is integral with the base and extends toward the cover and rotatably supports a circular drive means which includes an internal gear and a peripheral groove for receiving a core element. A shaft is rotatably supported by the housing and supports a pinion which engages the internal gear. A barrel housing extends from the base portion and surrounds the shaft and a bezel is attached to the end of the barrel housing. A friction or drag device threadedly engages the bezel and forces a collar against the shaft to control rotation of the shaft. The barrel housing is attached to the base by bolts, one of which extends centrally through the housing. A retainer is disposed in the housing and includes a groove for surrounding the core element so as to retain the core element in the groove in the circular drive member.

摘要: The present invention relates to a buoyancy-driven power generation apparatus using a gravity body. To achieve this, according to the present invention, a rotary module is configured with at least one rotary body mounted on a rotary shaft, a latch provided between the rotary body and the rotary shaft such that the rotary body transmits power only in one direction, and a power transmission gear mounted on one end portion of the rotary shaft. A rope is mounted on the rotary body of the rotary module to make contact with the same to move up and down. A buoyant body hangs from one end portion of the rope, and a gravity body lighter in weight than the buoyant body hangs from the other end portion of the rope. A power gear is provided on one end portion of the rotary module so as to be engaged with the power transmission gear such that the rotating force of the power gear is transmitted to a generator. Accordingly, it is possible to effectively convert a movement of the surface of the sea into a vertical up and down motion of the buoyant body.
