    摘要: A fluid control valve includes a cover portion having a first channel and a body portion having a second channel. Inner surfaces of the cover and the body portion define a chamber that includes an inlet and an outlet in communication with the chamber. The fluid control valve also includes a diaphragm disposed between the cover portion and the body portion. The diaphragm has a flexible member that is disposed within the chamber for controlling communication between the inlet and the outlet and a lip member circumscribing the flexible member. When the cover portion and the body portion are joined, the first channel and the second channel define a cavity that circumscribes the chamber and the cavity is configured such that each channel receives a portion of the lip member and pinches the lip member to seal the fluid control valve and hold the diaphragm.

    摘要: A dual mode flush valve includes a handle assembly having a handle, a bushing and a plunger. The bushing has a sleeve with a passage therethrough for mounting the plunger for sliding and tilting. The passage is defined by first and second partially overlapping bores that coincide at the inner end of the sleeve and are spaced one above the other at the outer end of the sleeve. The bores define a horizontal plunger travel axis and an angled plunger travel axis. Depending on which direction the user actuates the handle the plunger will travel along one of these axes. Travel along the angled axis will lower the plunger tip, allowing earlier clearance of a relief valve and a reduced flow through the flush valve compared to actuation with the plunger travel along the horizontal axis.

    摘要: A shut-off device (1) for protection against explosions in a pipe-line is fitted with a slide valve plate (10) movable transversely to the direction of flow (A). The slide valve plate is connected via a piston rod (25, 26) to a piston (27, 28) slidably guided in a cylinder (35, 36) and actuated by a pressure medium. The pressure medium is supplied from a pressure medium reservoir via a closing valve (45) to a working chamber (46, 47) of the cylinder (35, 36), thereby actuating the piston and causing the slide valve plate (10) to move into a position closing the pipe passage (4). At least one cylinder (35, 36) is arranged within a pressure chamber (40) enclosed by a housing (30), which forms the pressure medium reservoir. Thus, a compact, space-saving shut-off device is created which can be shut within a very short time.

The valve assembly has a valve seat, a diaphragm suspended over the valve seat, the diaphragm configured to contact the valve seat upon the application of an actuating pressure on the diaphragm. The diaphragm has a continuous film of a first material, where a portion of the first material in a region where the diaphragm contacts the valve seat includes a first metallic material. The absence of an adhesive or the addition of the metal layer extends the operating temperature of the valve by preventing adhesion of the diaphragm to the valve seat during high temperature operation. Selection of an appropriate material for the metal layer can improve chemical inertness of valve, thereby reducing the possibility that the material flowing through the valve will react with the metal.

The bonnet assembly is secured to the valve body, and includes a bonnet stem movably within a bonnet housing for moving a gate within the valve body to open and close the valve. A downstop member is fixably secured to the bonnet stem and engages removable stem spacers which are added or removed to obtain a selected bonnet stem drift setting. The operator housing connects to a base ring that surrounds the bonnet housing and rotates to allow positioning of a fluid port in the operator housing. The operator housing may removed and replaced without altering the bonnet stem drift adjustment. A top shaft extends from the operator housing and rotates with respect to the bonnet stem to prevent torque transmission from the top shaft to the bonnet stem. A replaceable sealing cartridge sealingly supports the top shaft for axial movement within the operator housing.

When a chamber is expanded by fluid supply into a pipe-shaped button, a valve stem is slightly moved upward by a rod and a shaft to open an outlet of an orifice. Fluid received in a space between a cap and a diaphragm and having a high pressure is discharged into an outlet-side space, whereby the diaphragm opens a guide conduit. When fluid is discharged from the pipe-shaped button, the diaphragm is moved toward the guide conduit, and the valve stem closes the outlet. The fluid in the inlet-side space has a high pressure, and the fluid in the space between the cap and diaphragm has a low pressure. The high pressure fluid flows toward the low pressure fluid through a pilot hole of the diaphragm. When fluid pressure balance is effected between the spaces, the diaphragm closes the guide conduit.
