摘要: Various implementations include a water heater system. The system includes a variable speed pump. The variable speed pump has having an inlet and an outlet. The system includes a heat exchanger, having an inlet and an outlet. The heat exchanger outlet is fluidically connected to the variable speed pump inlet. The system includes an output temperature sensor disposed downstream of the heat exchanger outlet. The system includes a controller configured to receive a first temperature reading from the output temperature sensor. The controller is configured to control operation of the variable speed pump to adjust an output flow rate in response to the first temperature reading. The controller is further configured to receive a second temperature reading from a recovery temperature sensor on a storage tank. The controller is configured to turn off the variable speed pump upon a determination that the second temperature reading has reached a maximum temperature.

摘要: A fluid heating system including a burner unit is operated based on feedback control loops. The fluid heating system comprises a burner unit configured to heat a fluid, a sensor configured to sense a characteristic of the appliance, and a controller coupled to the burner unit and the sensor. The controller includes an electronic processor and a memory. The controller is configured to receive a first signal corresponding to the characteristic from the sensor, determine, based on the first signal, a first feedback loop control, control combustion of the burner unit based on the first feedback loop control, determine, based on the first feedback loop control, a second feedback loop control, and control combustion of the burner unit based on the second feedback loop control.

摘要: An environmental control system for controlling environmental conditions within an open interior of an agricultural building includes a main controller, and a plurality of zone systems. Each zone system is configured to control environmental conditions within one of a plurality of zones within the open interior, and includes at least one environmental control device, a temperature sensor configured to output a temperature signal indicating a temperature within the zone, and a smart hub configured to control the at least one environmental control device of the corresponding zone based on low and high setpoint temperatures for the zone issued by the main controller and the temperature signal issued by the temperature sensor of the zone. The main controller is configured to prevent activation of an environmental control device in one of the zones by the smart hub based on an operating condition of an environmental control device in another zone.

摘要: A fuel-fired heating appliance comprises a fuel source, an air source, a chamber in which fuel and air mix, a burner downstream from the mixing chamber, an igniter proximate the burner, a heat exchanger, a blower and a flue pipe. An ambient air inlet may be defined by at least one of the outlet end of the blower and the flue pipe extending between the interior of the flue pipe and an area ambient to the flue pipe. A flow rate of combustion gas may be controlled to a level below a steady-state flow rate during appliance warm-up.

摘要: A limit switch assembly including a shape memory member, a furnace system for incorporating the same, and a method for controlling a furnace are provided. The limit switch assembly includes a switch communicatively connected to a control board of a furnace. The switch is configured to send a signal to the control board when actuated. The shape memory member is configured to actuate the switch. The control board, in certain instances, shuts off the furnace and arrests the supply of combustible gas when receiving the signal from the switch. The shape memory member, in certain instances, actuates the switch as a result of being heated.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hot water supplying apparatus which enables supply of hot water by utilizing waste heat of a pipe and a boiler as a heat source if there is a small quantity of residual hot water to use therefor, the residual hot water being required when using hot water of an instantaneous boiler, and a method for utilizing waste heat of a hot water supplying apparatus. The hot water supplying apparatus of the present invention for achieving said purpose comprises: a sensible heat exchanger for heating a heating fluid by means of combustion heat from a burner; a hot water supply heat exchanger for generating hot water by means of a heat exchange between the heating fluid heated by the sensible heat exchanger and direct water, and supplying the hot water to a faucet; and a pump for circulating the heating fluid via a heating fluid flow path which connects the sensible heat exchanger and the hot water supply heat exchanger, wherein the hot water supplying apparatus comprises: a signal reception unit for receiving a final hot water use signal; and a control unit for stopping the operation of the burner on the basis of the signal received by the signal reception unit and controlling the pump to circulate the heating fluid.

摘要: Systems and methods for gas valve adjustment of a water heater are provided. A controller of the water heater may be provided with logic that is configured to automatically adjust the water heater unit to the necessary conditions (for example, blower fan speed, tank temperature, etc.) for an installer to verify an offset setting of a gas valve. The controller may also cause instructions to be presented on a display of the water heater unit. The instructions may guide the installer through the step-by-step process of adjusting the offset setting of the gas valve while simultaneously maintaining optimal operating conditions of the water heater unit.
