摘要: Systems and methods are provided for adaptive flow across multiple water heaters. The system may include a plurality of water heaters provided in a cascaded arrangement, with each of the water heaters including a valve. The valves may be, for example, motorized isolation valves that may be automatically closed and/or opened by one or more controllers associated with the water heaters. This may allow for the system to automatically regulate the flow rate through each of the water heaters to provide for optimal usage of the cascaded water heaters. For example, if it is determined by the one or more controllers (based on sensor data from the water heaters) that a flow rate has decreased below a threshold value for a giving water heater firing rate, one or more valves may be closed such that fewer water heaters are used and the flow rate is increased.

摘要: A recreational vehicle heating system comprises: a heating medium heater, a hot water supply heat exchanger, a heating medium circuit including a pump and a waste heat exchanger, and a heating medium tank compartmented by vertical partitions configured to allow for the heating medium flow over the partitions from one compartment to another in a sequential order, the hot water supply heat exchanger being arranged in one of the tank compartments, while the other tank compartments are part of heating medium circuits each including a pump and a waste heat exchanger. The first tank compartment in said sequential order is connected, via a conduit, to the heating medium heater, while the last tank compartment in said sequential order is configured to allow for the heating medium flow over to the conduit for the heating medium transfer by a pump via the heater to the first compartment.

摘要: A heating system is configured to optimize the speed and accuracy of the system in achieving various ambient air temperature setpoints, by modulating the heated water supply water setpoint to optimize the slope of the system's response curve. Optimized response curves are automatically determined by analyzing differences between ambient air temperatures over time in response to modulated supply water temperatures as they are reset upward or downward to achieve response times prioritized for improved occupant comfort. The controller of the heating system calculates a temperature slope, and adjusts the supply water setpoint to increase/decrease the speed of ambient temperature rise to achieve a desired slope.

摘要: A water heating system can include a water heater having a tank, and a first temperature sensor disposed toward a top end of the tank to measure a first temperature and a second temperature sensor disposed toward a bottom end of the tank to measure a second temperature. The water heating system can further include a controller communicably coupled to the first temperature sensor and the second temperature sensor, where the controller determines an amount of heated water in the tank based on a plurality of algorithms and measurements made by the first and second temperature sensors. The plurality of algorithms solves for at least one calculated temperature for at least one point between a first location of the first temperature sensor and a second location of the second temperature sensor, where the at least one calculated temperature is used to determine the amount of heated water in the tank.

摘要: An electrical power distribution control system configured to issue a demand response signal to cut power to a plurality of electrical power consuming loads within an electrical power distribution network to reduce a peak power demand within an electrical power grid during a peak power demand. Unlike conventional demand response systems, the controller in each consumer residence includes both a distributed control based on the ability to track individual 24 hour usage patterns and selectively delay the demand response signal on individual resistive heating loads based on usage patterns for the purpose of reducing a likelihood of consumers experiencing effects of the reduced peak power demand.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hot water supplying apparatus which enables supply of hot water by utilizing waste heat of a pipe and a boiler as a heat source if there is a small quantity of residual hot water to use therefor, the residual hot water being required when using hot water of an instantaneous boiler, and a method for utilizing waste heat of a hot water supplying apparatus. The hot water supplying apparatus of the present invention for achieving said purpose comprises: a sensible heat exchanger for heating a heating fluid by means of combustion heat from a burner; a hot water supply heat exchanger for generating hot water by means of a heat exchange between the heating fluid heated by the sensible heat exchanger and direct water, and supplying the hot water to a faucet; and a pump for circulating the heating fluid via a heating fluid flow path which connects the sensible heat exchanger and the hot water supply heat exchanger, wherein the hot water supplying apparatus comprises: a signal reception unit for receiving a final hot water use signal; and a control unit for stopping the operation of the burner on the basis of the signal received by the signal reception unit and controlling the pump to circulate the heating fluid.
