摘要: Various implementations include a water heater system. The system includes a variable speed pump. The variable speed pump has having an inlet and an outlet. The system includes a heat exchanger, having an inlet and an outlet. The heat exchanger outlet is fluidically connected to the variable speed pump inlet. The system includes an output temperature sensor disposed downstream of the heat exchanger outlet. The system includes a controller configured to receive a first temperature reading from the output temperature sensor. The controller is configured to control operation of the variable speed pump to adjust an output flow rate in response to the first temperature reading. The controller is further configured to receive a second temperature reading from a recovery temperature sensor on a storage tank. The controller is configured to turn off the variable speed pump upon a determination that the second temperature reading has reached a maximum temperature.

摘要: An environmental control system for controlling environmental conditions within an open interior of an agricultural building includes a main controller, and a plurality of zone systems. Each zone system is configured to control environmental conditions within one of a plurality of zones within the open interior, and includes at least one environmental control device, a temperature sensor configured to output a temperature signal indicating a temperature within the zone, and a smart hub configured to control the at least one environmental control device of the corresponding zone based on low and high setpoint temperatures for the zone issued by the main controller and the temperature signal issued by the temperature sensor of the zone. The main controller is configured to prevent activation of an environmental control device in one of the zones by the smart hub based on an operating condition of an environmental control device in another zone.

摘要: A water heating system includes a burner and a gas valve fluidly connected to the burner to deliver a flow of combustible gas thereto. The gas valve has an adjustable throttle for the flow of combustible gas, along with a motor to adjust a position of the throttle. A controller is configured to determine a throttle position corresponding to a target air-fuel ratio of the burner during a calibration sequence, and to control the motor in order to operate the burner at that target air-fuel ratio throttle position during a start sequence. The controller is configured to monitor a characteristic of the burner during the start sequence, and to initiate the calibration sequence if the monitored characteristic exceeds an error threshold.

摘要: A hot water pressure washer for delivering a high pressure stream of heated water. The hot water pressure washer includes an engine, a source of gas, a water heater, and a high pressure water pump. In one embodiment, the gas is one of liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, gasoline, or propane. The water heater includes a gas input adapted to be coupled to an outlet of the source of gas and a water input adapted to be coupled to a source of water. The water heater includes a water heater inlet, adapted to receive gas from the source of gas, and a water heater outlet, adapted to provide a heated water to a spray wand. A high pressure water pump receives water from the water heater outlet and the water pump outlet provides the pressurized heated water to a spray wand.

摘要: A water heater may include a water tank, a burner, a pilot for igniting the burner, an ignitor for igniting the pilot, a thermoelectric device in thermal communication with a flame of the pilot, a controller for controlling an ignition sequence of the pilot using the ignitor, and a rechargeable power storage device for supplying power to the ignitor and the controller. The rechargeable power storage device may be rechargeable using the energy produced by the thermoelectric device. The controller is configured to selectively run only the pilot for at least part of a heating cycle to increase the recharge time of the rechargeable power storage device while still heating the water in the water heater.

摘要: A fluid heating system including a burner unit is operated based on feedback control loops. The fluid heating system comprises a burner unit configured to heat a fluid, a sensor configured to sense a characteristic of the appliance, and a controller coupled to the burner unit and the sensor. The controller includes an electronic processor and a memory. The controller is configured to receive a first signal corresponding to the characteristic from the sensor, determine, based on the first signal, a first feedback loop control, control combustion of the burner unit based on the first feedback loop control, determine, based on the first feedback loop control, a second feedback loop control, and control combustion of the burner unit based on the second feedback loop control.

摘要: A fuel-fired heating appliance comprises a fuel source, an air source, a chamber in which fuel and air mix, a burner downstream from the mixing chamber, an igniter proximate the burner, a heat exchanger, a blower and a flue pipe. An ambient air inlet may be defined by at least one of the outlet end of the blower and the flue pipe extending between the interior of the flue pipe and an area ambient to the flue pipe. A flow rate of combustion gas may be controlled to a level below a steady-state flow rate during appliance warm-up.
