摘要: An information processing apparatus 10a includes a first SSD drive including a first NAND module and a first flash controller, and a second SSD drive including a second NAND module and a second flash controller. A host unit stores data that is necessary to perform information processing, into either the first SSD drive or the second SSD drive, and the SSD drive in which the data has been stored is switched to a read-only mode in which only a read request is received.

摘要: Systems and methods for network security testing of target computer networks using AI neural networks. A command and control server controls a number of geographically separated processors running a number of neural networks. A central data hive is accessible to all the processors. The processors are organizable into logical hemisphere groupings for specific tasks and/or projects. For security testing, hemisphere groupings are created for the project. Based on data for the target system on the data hive, attacks are formulated by a hemisphere grouping and these potential attacks are tested against known characteristics of the target network. Validated potential attacks and, in some cases, random attacks, are executed and data generated by the executed attacks are stored in the data hive for use in formulating and executing other further attacks. Potential attacks may involve mining social media networks for data on users of the target system.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a memory system manages wear of each of a plurality of blocks in a nonvolatile memory. The memory system receives, from a host, a write request including a parameter specifying a data retention term required for first data to be written. The memory system selects, from the blocks, a first block in which a data retention term estimated from the wear of the first block is longer than or equal to the specified data retention term. The memory system writes the first data to the first block.

摘要: Generating any point in time backups without native snapshot generation. Production data is split such that a journal stream is sent to a data protection system, which may be local or remote. The journal stream includes a data stream and a metadata stream. Backups are synthesized at the data protection system by rolling at least a portion of the journal. A backup for any point in time represented in the journal can be synthesized.

摘要: An improved data storage system and apparatus including an improved storage controller that provides storage compute functionality that enables the acceleration of datacenter software, and that enables easier deployment of application software portions onto storage devices, in a manner that supports runtime performance acceleration of network-latency-throttled applications. Mechanisms and methods are provided for server hosted applications to initiate deployment of, initiate execution of, and interoperate with a multitude of softwares on a multitude of storage devices, where these softwares execute proximate to storage contents on the storage devices.

摘要: A system includes an ingestion component configured to receive a request from an entity for content related to a content item and a user identity. The request has a content identifier representative of the content item and a token. A request processing component of the system is configured to access a database associated with the system and identify the content item and the user identity using the content identifier and the token, wherein the database has information associating the token with the user identity and associating the content identifier with the content item. In response to identification of the content item and the user identity, the request processing component directs a recommendation engine associated with the system to identify the content related to the content item and the user identity. Information identifying the content related to the content item and the user identity is then transmitted back to the entity.

摘要: A virtual environment system for validating executable data using authorized hash outputs is provided. In particular, the system may generate a virtual environment using a virtual environment device, where the virtual environment is logically and/or physically separated from other devices and/or environments within the network. The system may then open a specified set of executable data within the virtual environment and perform a set of commands or processes with respect to the executable data. If the system determines that the executable data is safe to run, the system may generate a hash output of the executable data and store the hash output in a database of approved executable data. In this way, the system may securely generate a repository of authorized hashes such that the system may ensure that only safely executable code is processed by the computing systems within the network environment.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a write instructing unit instructs a data access unit to write, in a storage area of a data storage unit indicated by a first physical address, write object data, instructs a management information access unit to update address conversion information, and instructs a first access unit to update the first physical address. A compaction unit extracts a physical address of compaction object data, instructs the data access unit to read the compaction object data stored in a storage area of the data storage unit indicated by the physical address, instructs the data access unit to write the compaction object data in a storage area of the data storage unit indicated by a second physical address, instructs the management information access unit to update the address conversion information, and instructs a second access unit to update the second physical address.
