摘要: A food locker includes a housing, a food support member, a first door, a second door, and a lock. The housing includes a front wall a front wall, a rear wall, and a chamber. The front wall includes a first opening in communication with the chamber. The rear wall includes a second opening in communication with the chamber. The food support member is disposed within the chamber. The first door is supported by the housing and is movable between a closed position and an open position. The food support member is accessible through the first opening when the first door is in the open position. The second door is supported by the housing and is movable between a closed position and an open position. The food support member is accessible through the second opening when the second door is in the open position. The lock is operatively coupled to at least one of the housing and the first door and is actuatable between a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. The lock is operable to (i) permit the first door to move from the closed position to the open position when the lock is in the unlocked configuration and (ii) prevent the first door from moving from the closed position to the open position when the lock is in the locked configuration.

摘要: A processing system including at least one processor may obtain information regarding an exchange of an item, the exchange having a sterilization requirement for the exchange, and may identify a network-connected storage locker having at least one sterilization component that is capable of fulfilling the sterilization requirement and that is available for assignment to the exchange. The processing system may then transmit a first notification to the network-connected storage locker of a reservation of the network-connected storage locker for the exchange and transmit to a computing system associated with a source of the item a second notification of the reservation of the network-connected storage locker for the exchange.

摘要: A system for securely delivering packages of at least two different sizes by a sender to a receiver is disclosed comprising, installing an array of lockers of at least two different sizes with the number of lockers of each size based on a predetermined installed ratio, a central control unit for controlling the locking portions on the array of lockers having a locker optimization unit adapted to use data collected on the frequency of use of each size of lockers to recommend a ratio of lockers of each size to maximize usage of lockers of appropriate size in the array, wherein if the recommended ratio is different from the installed ratio, changing the sizes of selected lockers after installation of the array to better match the recommended ratio by replacing doors without removing hinge pins and moving and re-fastening the top and bottom walls of the lockers.

摘要: A delivery system includes a database configured to store information of a customer where the information includes a default payment method, a communication system configured to communicate with an autonomous vehicle and with a device of the customer, where the device includes a display screen having a button to summon an autonomous vehicle, at least one processor, and a memory storing instructions. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the delivery system to receive an indication via the communication system that the button on the device of the customer has been clicked, and instruct the autonomous vehicle to travel to a location of the customer.

摘要: A carsharing system includes circuitry configured to: receive, from a user, a usage request for requesting a reservation for use of a vehicle which is supplied for a vehicle rental service; permit the reservation for use of the vehicle when the reception unit receives the usage request and no reservation for use of the vehicle has been made at time of receiving the usage request; and give, when the reservation for use of the vehicle is determined, a permission for locking or unlocking by using electronic information to the user at a date and a time on which the vehicle is used.
