摘要: An electric assembly includes. a box assembly, a motor, and a transmission. An mounting plate is disposed in the box assembly, and the mounting plate divides a space within the box assembly into a motor holding cavity and a transmission holding cavity. The motor is disposed in the motor holding cavity. The transmission is disposed in the transmission holding cavity, and the motor is power-coupled to the transmission such that the motor and the transmission are directly integrated through the box assembly without external connection of the motor and the transmission. The mounting plate is a monolithically integral part of the box assembly.

摘要: An improved an end cap assembly for a fuel pump is provided. The end cap assembly includes first and second brush caps herein that are overmolded onto first and second shunt wires to ensure a fluid-tight seal around the shunt wires without requiring heat staking, sonic welding, or melt flowing the end cap to the shunt wires. The brush caps are cone-shaped and include a snap-fit feature that retains the brush caps in place when the endcap assembly is transported prior to being assembled to a fuel pump body.

摘要: A heel assembly of a submersible oil-filled electric motor contains a thrust bearing and an annular heel having grooves, enabling pumping liquid into the grooves when the heel rotates. The heel assembly is made with a through channel for fluid flow. At least part of the surface of the channel is formed by the inner annular surfaces of the heel and thrust bearing, and the above grooves are arcuate and form at least the first and second group of grooves. In the first group of grooves, each groove is made with an end closed for the fluid flow and with an end open for the fluid flow, located on the outer boundary of the annular heel with an outer diameter D1. In the second group of grooves, each groove is made with an end closed for the fluid flow and with an end open for the fluid flow.

摘要: A canned electric motor for a fluid pump. The canned electric motor includes a static motor frame, a rotor shaft, a rotatable motor rotor which is co-rotatably connected with the rotor shaft, a static motor stator having a stator body which is directly fixed to the static motor frame, and a separating can which fluidically separates the static motor stator from the rotatable motor rotor. The separating can has a first axial support which protrudes radially from an outside of the separating can. The separating can is supported in a first axial direction by the stator body via the first axial support and in a second axial direction by the static motor frame. The first axial direction is opposite to the second axial direction.

摘要: A lubricant supported electric motor includes an outer stator and an inner stator each extending around an axis in radially spaced relationship with one another. A rotor is rotatably disposed between the inner and outer stators to define an inner gap extending radially between the rotor and the inner stator and an outer gap extending radially between the rotor and the outer stator. A lubricant is disposed in both of the inner and outer gaps for supporting the rotor radially between the inner and outer stators. The lubricant supported motor with a two-sided radial flux configuration results in improved rotor-to-stator system stiffness to allow the lubricant supported electric motor to be used in high shock and high vibration environments, while also providing high torque in a small and lightweight design package.

摘要: A lubricant supported electric motor including a stator presenting a stator raceway, and a rotor extending along an axis and rotatable relative to the stator. The rotor presents a rotor raceway disposed in spaced relationship with the stator raceway to define a gap there between. A lubricant is disposed in the gap for supporting the rotor relative to the stator. The rotor includes a plurality of rotor poles arranged adjacent the rotor raceway in circumferentially spaced relationship with one another, and the stator includes a plurality of stator poles extending radially towards the rotor in circumferentially spaced relationship with one another along the stator raceway. A plurality of stator coil windings are wrapped around the plurality of stator poles and individually controllable for generating a magnetic force to center the rotor within the stator with carefully-timed adjustments to magnetic fields generated by the stator.

A motor of the present invention includes the stator and a rotor which is supported on the inner side of the stator such that the stator can be rotated with respect to the stator.
