Abstract: The present invention provides a mediating system for communicating between at least two users of instant messaging platform or between one user and one business bot, implemented by one or more processors operatively coupled to a non-transitory computer readable storage device, which comprise the module of: —At least one designated mediating channel/bot module having at least one designated address configured for communicating with each user through instant massaging platform and. —At least one router configured to exchange communication between the one mediating module and at least second mediating module or second user and identifying destination addresses of users by applying business rules based on the identified destination using the routing/map table wherein the messages are transferred between the users by the at least mediating channel/bot module though the at least one router. Wherein the users communicate only through the mediating system, using the at least one designated address, maintaining users addresses (masked)/private.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for resolving conflicts in role statuses assigned to a customer edge device by multiple provider edge devices in communication with that customer edge device. In embodiments, such techniques may involve receiving information about a customer edge device in communication with the first provider edge device and storing, based on the information about the customer edge device, an indication of a first role status of the customer edge device. The techniques may further involve receiving, from at least one second provider edge device in communication with the customer edge device, an advertisement message that includes a second role status of the customer edge device, comparing the first role status to the second role status, and upon determining that the first role status does not match the second role status, updating the first role status of the customer edge device.

Abstract: SR-enabled network nodes capable of replicating and recombining data packets in a manner that enables reliable, low-latency communications. In an example embodiment, a replicator node transmits to a combinator node multiple copies of a payload over different respective network paths, with the SR headers of the corresponding packets each having a replication segment identifier or a respective SID stack that includes the replication segment identifier. The combinator node delivers/forwards to the corresponding application/destination only the first-to-arrive payload copy and discards any subsequent payload copies based on the replication segment identifier. Some embodiments may beneficially reduce latency and packet loss concurrently and consistently. For example, packet loss may be reduced due to the transmission of multiple copies of the same payload over multiple network paths. Effective latency may be reduced due to the selection of the first-to-arrive payload copy for delivery/forwarding.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for generating a unique ID for a sensor in a network. Once the sensor is installed on a component of the network, the sensor can send attributes of the sensor to a control server of the network. The attributes of the sensor can include at least one unique identifier of the sensor or the host component of the sensor. The control server can determine a hash value using a one-way hash function and a secret key, send the hash value to the sensor, and designate the hash value as a sensor ID of the sensor. In response to receiving the sensor ID, the sensor can incorporate the sensor ID in subsequent communication messages. Other components of the network can verify the validity of the sensor using a hash of the at least one unique identifier of the sensor and the secret key.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides packet processing and relates to the technical field of communications. The solution of the present disclosure includes: receiving a first packet sent by a data plane of a network device, wherein the first packet includes a first SID, first encapsulation information, and notification information that includes a first head node address; if there is a first cache entry associated with the first SID locally and a second head node address included in the first cache entry is the same as the first head node address, sending the first SID and the first encapsulation information to the data plane, so that the data plane updates the stored second encapsulation information associated with the first SID to the first encapsulation information, so as to avoid the problem that the subsequent forwarding path of the service packet processed by the SF node is unclear and may be a wrong path.

Abstract: A computer program product includes program instructions configured to be executable by a processor of a networking hardware device to cause the processor to perform various operations. The operations include monitoring network communications on a first port of the networking hardware device to identify a first network address of a first device attached to the first local port and determining that the first network address is incompatible with communication on an external network. The operations further include automatically configuring, in response to determining that the first network address is incompatible with communication on an external network, independent network address translation for the first local port to translate the incompatible first network address to a compatible network address for all egress traffic from the first device and to translate the compatible network address to the incompatible first network address for all ingress traffic to the first device.

Abstract: This disclosure provides communications methods and apparatuses. One method comprises: receiving, by a first entity of an adaptation layer in a network node, a data packet sent by an entity of a lower protocol layer of the adaptation layer, wherein the data packet comprising an adaptation layer header and an adaptation layer payload; and processing the data packet in response to determining whether the network node is a destination node that the data packet is routed to at the adaptation layer.
