摘要: A decision feedback equalizer (DFE) may include a summer configured to receive a signal stream, and a plurality of feedback taps including a first feedback tap connected to the summer. The first feedback tap may include a pre-amplifier, a combined latch and a digital to analog converter (DAC). The pre-amplifier may be configured to be clocked by a first clock signal, wherein the pre-amplifier may be configured to receive an output signal of the summer and to receive a first postcursor generated by the DFE of a previous signal in the signal stream. The combined latch may be configured to be clocked by a first clock signal and a second clock signal. The DAC may be coupled to an output node of the combined latch. The first postcursor may be provided to the pre-amplifier without being provided to the summer.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a network entity may support communication of a compressed channel state information (CSI) feedback. The UE and the network entity may use closed-loop feedback to improve beamforming tracking accuracy. For example, the UE may receive a CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) that is beamformed based on a channel estimate of a sounding reference signal (SRS) or a previous CSI feedback, or both. The UE may transmit a feedback message including compressed CSI that is generated through encoding a measurement of the CSI-RS. The compressed CSI may be generated based on a predicted channel estimate at the network entity, determined based on the channel estimate of the SRS or the previous CSI feedback.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may support a CSI report configuration according to which the UE may include a respective set of CSI parameters for each of multiple codebooks. For example, the UE may compute a respective set of CSI parameters for each of multiple codebooks in accordance with a CSI report configuration and may transmit a CSI report including the respective sets of CSI parameters for each of the multiple codebooks. The network entity may use the respective sets of CSI parameters for each of the multiple codebooks to inform a dynamic antenna panel configuration update at the network entity.

The method comprises defining (S1) a logical grid of beams matrix, GoB, (5) associated with a carrier frequency band (B0, B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7) of the communications network (1), wherein the GoB (5) comprises a set (S) of beam indices (BI), and partitioning (S2) the set (S) of beam indices into disjoint subsets (DS1, DS2, DS3, DS4) of at least one beam index (BI) each. The method further comprises mapping (S3) each of the two or more radio units (4) to one disjoint subset (DS1, DS2, DS3, DS4) such that each disjoint subset (DS1, DS2, DS3, DS4) is associated with a single radio unit (4), and transporting (S5) the data (2) between the BB unit (3) and the two or more radio units (4) and distributing the transported data (2) between the radio units (4) based on the disjoint subsets (DS1, DS2, DS3, DS4) of beam indices (BI).

摘要: A base station may transmit a report mask indicating a transmission of a layer 1 reference signal received power (L1-RSRP) report limited to a time period when a discontinuous reception (DRX) timer is running for a wireless device. The base station may receive the L1-RSRP from the wireless device at a first time, in response to the DRX timer running at a predefined time period before the first time. The received L1-RSRP report may include an L1-RSRP value and a reference signal index associated with the L1-RSRP value. At second time, the base station may skip a reception of a configured L1-RSRP report transmission from the wireless device in response to the DRX timer not running at the predefined time period before the second time and the report mask.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for tracking multiple beams between a first radio node and one or more other radio nodes. In this regard, embodiments of a method performed by a first radio node for mitigating interference between two or more three-dimensional (3D) beams between the first radio node and the one or more other radio nodes are provided. According to one embodiment, the method comprises determining that a particular 3D beam from among two or more 3D beams results in interference to at least one other 3D beam from among the two or more 3D beams, wherein both the particular 3D beam and the at least one other 3D beam are both operated on a first frequency. The method further comprises selecting a new frequency to which to switch the particular 3D beam, and switching the particular 3D beam from the first frequency to the new frequency.
