摘要: One embodiment provides a method comprising determining a first representation of a source gamut of an input content in a first (2D) device-independent color space, determining a second representation of a target gamut of a display device in a second 2D device-independent color space, and determining a color transition protection zone (TPZ) based on the source gamut and the target gamut. The method further comprises utilizing a color gamut mapping (CGM) module to perform, based on the TPZ, linear color gamut compression from the first 2D device-independent color space to the second 2D device-independent color space if the target gamut is narrower than the source gamut. The method further comprises utilizing the same CGM module to perform, based on the TPZ, linear color gamut extension from the first 2D device-independent color space to the second 2D device-independent color space if the target gamut is wider than the source gamut.

摘要: An image processing apparatus generates, from a mixed image of projection images projected from a plurality of projection devices, separated images for respective pieces of color information, on the basis of a color model. For the color model, the pieces of color information of the projection images changed according to spectral characteristics of the projection devices and an image pickup device for acquiring the captured image and an attenuation coefficient are used as parameters, and a color separation processing section generates the separated images for the respective pieces of color information on the basis of the color model, by using parameters that minimize the difference between the color information of the captured image and color information estimated by the color model. The image processing apparatus becomes able to accurately separate projection images from the captured image of the mixed image including a plurality of projection images.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to color correction in image processing pipelines. An example method may include receiving first image data corresponding to reference luminance data and reference chrominance data for each of a plurality of pixels, determining that the first image data corresponds to a raw image captured in a dark environment, generating second image data by performing one or more tone mapping operations on the first image data, the second image data corresponding to current luminance data and current chrominance data for each of the plurality of pixels, and generating output image data. For each pixel of the plurality of pixels, the output data may include an output luminance value of a corresponding pixel of the current luminance data, and chrominance values of the corresponding pixel from a selected one of the reference chrominance data and the current chrominance data, the selection based at least in part on the reference chrominance data and the current chrominance data.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an image processing apparatus. The image processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a display having a plurality of pixels, and a controller, wherein the controller: calculates an average luminance value of a first frame of an image based on RGB data corresponding to the image; sets a criterion for determining an output level of the plurality of pixels according to the average luminance value of the first frame; controls the display to output a first frame group, including the first frame, according to the set criterion; calculates an average luminance value of a second frame of the image according to a predetermined cycle; resets a criterion for determining the output level of the plurality of pixels according to the average luminance value of the second frame; and controls the display to output a second frame group, including the second frame, according to the reset criterion. Accordingly, by dynamically changing the criteria for determining the output level of the plurality of pixels included in the display based on the luminance value of each frame of the image, the image may be displayed more clearly. Various other embodiments are possible.
