摘要: Wireless communication under IEEE 802.11 standards utilizing carrier specific interference mitigation where an AP or UE employs an ultra-wideband tuner to evaluate available spectrum between several communication bands. Rather than being constrained to communicate in a single communication band, the AP and UEs may utilize more than one communication band to communicate with one another. In doing so, the AP and UE search across several bands and measure interference on a carrier-by-carrier basis across those bands. Either of the AP and UE may select a cluster of carriers for communication, where the cluster of carriers may comprise 1) contiguous carriers in a single sub-channel, 2) contiguous carriers spanning across more than one sub-channel, 3) discontinuous carriers in a single sub-channel, or 4) discontinuous carriers spanning across more than one sub-channel. The mapping between a cluster and its carriers can be fixed or reconfigurable.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment (UE) that comprises a receiver, which receives a plurality of random access type threshold values. A processing circuitry of the UE determines a random value and then selects a type of a random access procedure to be performed by the UE. The selecting comprises at least selecting one out of the plurality of random access type threshold values, comparing the determined random value against the selected random access type threshold value, and selecting a type of the random access procedure based on the result of the comparison. The UE then performs the random access procedure of the selected type.

A first device determines whether a contention-free random access resource is allocated from a second device for a first random access type. In accordance with a determination that the contention-free random access resource is allocated, the first device compares a target transport block size corresponding to the contention-free random access resource with a first transport block size configured for a first group of preambles available for the first random access type, and performs random access to the second device based on a result of the comparison.

摘要: A transmitting wireless device provides channel spatial reuse information to a receiving wireless device for the receiving wireless device to make a determination of how to contend the medium for spatial reuse transmission, when to transmit and what transmissions parameters to use for the transmission in the spatial reuse. A timer is designated to track the remaining time for inter-ESS and/or intra-ESS spatial reuse. The spatial reuse information may include fields indicative of color code identifying BSS, transmission power used, signal to noise ratio headroom available and so on. With the spatial reuse information, the wireless device can calculate the target transmit power for initiating spatial reuse transmission without interrupting the on-going transmission, perform EDCA in spatial reuse condition to assess the channel status for contending the medium over the on-going transmission(s), tracking the spatial reuse duration and initiate a new spatial reuse transmission over the on-going transmission without interruption.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may use easily detectable transmission parameters to infer difficult-to-detect parameters for communications with a base station. For example, the base station may provide the UE with multiple sets of transmission parameters, and the UE 115 may choose from among these sets of transmission parameters for the communications. In some cases, the UE may be configured with a reference set of transmission parameters, receive one or more transmission parameters that are different relative to the reference set of transmission parameters, and then determine to use the different transmission parameters for the communications. Additionally or alternatively, the multiple sets of transmission parameters may be specified for a certain uplink message (e.g., random access channel messages), where the UE selects the transmission parameter set based on one or more characteristics of the uplink message.

摘要: Wireless communications systems and methods related to performing contention credit-based listen-before-talk (LBT) for communications over a shared radio frequency band (e.g., in a shared spectrum or in an unlicensed spectrum) are provided. A wireless communication device performs a first clear channel assessment (CCA) including a first countdown. The wireless communication device transmits, after a gap period from the first countdown, a first communication signal. The wireless communication device performs a second CCA including a second countdown. The wireless communication device transmits, beginning before an end of the second countdown, a second communication signal based on at least a first contention credit associated with the gap period.
