Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a method of wireless communication, performed by a user equipment (UE), may include determining an inter-transmission time value for a series of transmissions to be performed by the UE; adjusting the inter-transmission time value based at least in part on a motion state associated with the UE; and performing the series of transmissions in accordance with the adjusted inter-transmission time value. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Abstract:
A system is described herein, including an activation circuit configured to generate a signal indicative of an alarm condition. A residual current device trigger circuit is coupled to the activation circuit and a residual current device. The residual current device trigger circuit is configured to provide a simulated earth leakage current condition to trigger the residual current device on receiving the signal indicative of the alarm condition.
Abstract:
A tilt assembly for a display screen is provided. The tilt assembly includes a base assembly that includes a base casing configured to engage with a proximally positioned surface and a base plate configured to cooperatively form the tilt assembly with the base casing. The base plate is configured to translate aft and fore and impart a pivot to the display screen.
Abstract:
A system for device trigger delivery in a mobile communication network includes a mobile terminal that is capable of responding to an application layer device trigger, an application layer server that is capable of requesting a new connection establishment from the mobile terminal via device trigger, and a network control entity that is capable of delivering the device trigger through two independent domains and deploying congestion control in these two domain independently. When the mobile terminal decides a new domain connection establishment in response to an application layer device trigger from the application layer server is needed, the mobile terminal triggers an inter domain negotiation to facilitate a connection request to transmit the response to the application layer device trigger.
Abstract:
An offloading method comprising the steps of: when the mobile terminal starts offloading in a first network, transmitting, by the mobile terminal, a first message to a mobility management device performing mobility management of the mobile terminal in a second network, the first message including information indicating that the offloading is started; transmitting, by the mobility management device, a second message to the mobile terminal, the second message including selection information in the second network, the selection information being for selecting, on basis of the first message, as to in which network offloading is to be performed; and deciding, by the mobile terminal, whether the offloading is to be maintained in the first network or whether new offloading is to be performed in the second network on a basis of the selection information included in the second message and judgment information in the first network that the mobile terminal has.
Abstract:
A communication system and a management method thereof are provided in the embodiment of the present invention. The communication system includes: a wireless transmitting/receiving layer including a wireless transmitting/receiving node assembly, which includes at least one of the macro cell Radio Remote Unit (RRU), micro cell RRU and micro cell Baseband Unit (BBU); a local calculation layer including a local calculation node, the local calculation node being connected with one wireless transmitting/receiving node or multi neighbouring wireless transmitting/receiving nodes among the wireless transmitting/receiving node assembly, the local calculation node performing all or a first part of the communication processing of a cell corresponding to the local calculation node; a centralized calculation layer including a centralized calculation node, the centralized calculation being connected with the local calculation node in the local calculation layer, and performing a second part of communication processing, the whole communication processing including the first and the second part of communication processing. The local calculation layer of the embodiment in the present invention takes in charge of all or part of the communication processing within a certain range, so that a further calculation center does not have to process all of the processing, thus the network bandwidth is saved, and the utilization efficiency of the system resources is increased.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for reducing fouling, including particulate-induced fouling, in a hydrocarbon refining process including the steps of providing a crude hydrocarbon for a refining process and adding an antifouling agent containing a polymer base unit and a polyamine group to the crude hydrocarbon. The antifouling agent can be obtained by reacting an epoxidation reagent with a vinyl- terminated polymer, such as polypropylene or poly(ethylene-co-propylene), to form a terminal epoxy group, followed by reacting a polyamine with the epoxy group.
Abstract:
The present invention introduces system, apparatus and method that reduce wastage of network resources and mobile phone resources. The mobile phone would indicate its status in a tracking area update message when it is connected to the device. The network can then understand from the status indication that the mobile phone is capable of delivering packets to the device, and would thus allow the server to initiate communications. An absence of the status indication would imply the mobile phone is not capable of delivering packets to the device, and the network would then disallow the server to initiate communications.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to photoreceptor cells. In particular, the present invention provides photoreceptor cells comprising heterologous nucleic acid sequences and transgenic animals comprising the same. The present invention also provides photoreceptor precursor cells (e.g., rod photoreceptor precursor cells), and methods of identifying, characterizing, isolating and utilizing the same. Compositions and methods of the present invention find use in, among other things, research, clinical, diagnostic, drug discovery, and therapeutic applications.
