Abstract:
A water treatment system includes a filter module (12) and a reverse osmosis module (14) secured to the filter module (12). The filter module (12) contains two filter cartridges (18, 24). The modular structure of the components enables the filter module (12) to have the two filter cartridges (18, 24) connected as separate pre and post filters or connected in series as a single two-stage filter. Similarly the modularity permits multiple reverse osmosis modules to be connected is a daisy chain manner for increased treatment capacity. A novel bracket structure aligns ports of the filter module (12) with corresponding ports on the reverse osmosis module (14).

Abstract:
Total analysis systems and methods for simultaneously monitoring a suite of biological and/or chemical species in water and/or other process systems are disclosed. The system provides a sample- volume controlled sensor array comprising a fluid delivery device and a plurality of optical sensor elements for determining the presence and total concentrations of multiple analytes in the process system simultaneously. Delivery means are provided to deliver a metered quantity of sample fluid to the sensor array. Image identification algorithms are provided for identifying the analytes based on image intensity, color pattern, positional arrangement, and the like. The methods incorporate multivariate optimization algorithms to analyze multiple sensor responses. This produces analytical results that are typically difficult to obtain without full system or variable compensation. The improved array response may then be utilized to measure, monitor, and control the concentration of analytes in the chemical or biological sample or water system.
Abstract:
A process is provided for making a moisture-curable silylated resin composition by reacting (i) at least one polyol, (ii) at least one polyisocyanate and (iii) at least one isocyanatosilane, optionally in the presence of catalyst, wherein the NCO/OH ratio is less than 1. The resulting moisture-curable silylated resin composition is useful in the manufacturer of each product as moisture-curable sealants, coatings and adhesives.
