Cet ensemble comporte un groupe (40A à 40C) d'amortisseurs hydrauliques (42), chaque amortisseur (42) comprenant un vérin hydraulique comprenant un cylindre destiné à être porté par le premier élément (14), et un organe d'amortissement partiellement reçu dans le cylindre. L'organe d'amortissement présente une tête faisant saillie hors du cylindre, la tête étant destinée à entrer en contact avec le deuxième élément lors du montage du deuxième élément sur le premier élément (14). L'ensemble d'amortissement (17) comporte, pour chaque groupe (40A à 40C) d'amortisseurs (42), un accumulateur (44) de fluide raccordé à chaque cylindre du groupe d'amortisseurs (42), pour permettre un transfert de fluide hydraulique entre les différents cylindres du groupe d'amortisseurs (42) lors du contact entre chaque tête et le deuxième élément.

The present invention provides a system for prevention of adhesion of organisms in water to a substrate in contact with the water, wherein the substrate and the water flowing around the substrate form together a treated region, comprising a generator for producing electromagnetic wave having a time varying frequency, said generator having at least two output terminals, one of which in electrical connection with a first excitation site of the treated region; an avalanche current suppressor with its one terminal in electrical connection with the other of the outputs of the generator and with its another terminal connected with a second excitation site of the treated region; and an electric power source connected to the generator for applying a selected voltage to the generator, wherein the voltage is applied such that the generator is triggered to produce the electromagnetic wave capable of inducing an avalanche current in the water and/or on a surface of the substrate to shock or kill the organisms. The invention also provides a method for prevention of adhesion of organisms in water to a substrate in contact with the water.

The present invention provides a riser protection structure being suitable to be employed in a Jackup rig. The riser protection structure comprises a plurality of piles (1), an upper module (2), wherein the upper module comprises a main protection tubing (21) for receiving a riser, a plurality of sleeves (22) to be installed over the plurality of piles, and a connecting network (23); wherein the plurality of sleeves are disposed around the main protection tubing; and wherein the main protection tubing and the plurality of sleeves are connected together by the connecting network, and a lower module (3), wherein the lower module comprises a plurality of tubular guides (21) for guiding and later fixing the piles and a connecting structure (32), wherein the plurality of piles are securely disposed into the seabed for providing the requisite support for the upper and lower modules when they are assembled.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) für den Kolkschutz von Offshore-Bauwerken (2). Um einen haltbaren, kostengünstigen und dabei einen wirksamen Schutz zu erzielen, der einfach rückbaubar ist, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Vorrichtung (1) eine flexible Matte (3) oder mehrere miteinander verbundene, flexible Matten (3) sowie am äußeren Randbereich der Vorrichtung (1) befestigte Gewichtselemente (4) aufweist und Trägerelemente (7) zur Versteifung vorgesehen sind, an deren einem Ende mindestens ein Gelenk (10) angeordnet ist, um die flexiblen Matten (3) gelenkig am Offshore-Bauwerk (2) zu befestigen.

The invention relates to structures, such as offshore structures, associated apparatus and methods. For example, the invention can relate to wind turbine structures, such as piles for offshore wind turbines, and associated apparatus and methods. In some examples, the invention relates to guide apparatus for offshore piles having a guide portion configured to provide an acoustic barrier between a pile and a surrounding body of water during deployment of a pile at a body of water. The apparatus may comprise a dampening structure, such as inflatable bladders, or the like, configured to provide the acoustic barrier. In some example, the guide apparatus comprises a piling template, configured to be positioned on a water floor, so that the guide portion can locate, and be positioned with, the template to allow for guiding of a pile to a water floor.

The instant invention describes an anti-biofouling structure for placement onto structures or surfaces that are exposed to aquatic environments. Embedded within the anti-biofouling structure are agents that can diffuse out of the structure and prevent the formation and/or accumulation of plant and animal species build-up that creates biofouling. The instant invention also describes a system for preventing biofouling of an object stored in an aquatic environment which includes the anti-biofouling structure, and a protective cover element constructed and arranged to fit various structures, such as boat propellers.

A method for mitigating degradation of a wooden piece immersed in water caused by the presence of microorganisms in the water and the corresponding wooden piece, in which a large number of staples made of a material comprising iron are driven into a water-exposed surface of the wooden piece. The staples are distributed on the water-exposed surface of the wooden piece with an homogeneous density of staples on the water-exposed surface and a deepness of driving of the staples into the wooden piece. The homogeneous density of staples and the deepness of driving of the staples are adjusted to produce, by means of a chemical reaction between the water and the iron of the staples when the water immerses the water-exposed surface, a homogeneous ferrous oxide barrier on and underneath the water-exposed surface over a certain thickness into the wooden piece to protect the wooden piece against degradation caused by the presence of microorganisms in the water.

Seabed scour about a seabed-mounted foundation or renewable energy device or anchor therefore, especially a wind-turbine monopile may be prevented or reduced by installing on or in the seabed area about the foundation or device an arrangement of interconnected sedimentation elements, which by virtue of the elemental structure or interconnective arrangement themselves do not cause or worsen seabed scour by substantially displacing seabed material on which the elements are placed. Elements having a specific gravity, either in situ or inherent, of substantially similar to the seabed material or mobilized seabed material in which they are placed are capable of achieving this. An ideal arrangement of elements (or mat) is one formed of used or discarded vehicle tyres.

Disclosed is a scour preventive apparatus for a pier foundation which prevents scour of the foundation of piers supporting the load of a bridge. The present invention comprises cover plates which cover the pier foundation and wherein plural holes are formed, a first flow guide plate which is distanced from the pier foundation, a second flow guide plate which is distanced from the pier foundation, and a blocking plate which connects the first and second flow guide plates and blocks the flow of fluid. One side of each flow guide plate is connected to one side of each cover plate. First flow holes and second flow holes are respectively formed in the first and second flow guide plates, which are symmetrical in relation to the pier foundation.
