摘要: A light modulation and exposure system comprising : a light source; a light sensitive media; a two-dimensional light modulator containing a plurality of rows of light valves; means of imaging light source onto light modulator and light modulator onto light sensitive material; means of generating relative motion between image of light modulator and light sensitive material; means of shifting into the first of rows the data to be imaged onto light sensitive material and means of editing data from the first row to subsequent rows of modulator at a rate keeping the image of individual data pattern substantially stationary relative to light sensitive material until data transferred to the selected final rows; this sequence continuing until all data to be imaged has passed through light modulator. The two-dimensional light modulator may be oriented at a rotation relative to the direction of motion of the light sensitive media in a manner conducive to achieving variable resolution levels and half-tone generation.

摘要: The present invention relates to a prepreg composite and to a process for manufacturing the prepreg composite. The manufacturing process involves surface treatment and impregnation of a high tenacity fibrous material with a surface treatment agent and a polymer matrix resin material. The fiber may be in the form of a woven, unidirectional or non-woven fabric. The fiber may optionally be coated with a surfactant and/or an adhesion promoter. Prior to treatment, the surface treatm ent materials may be contained in a dispersion of na no- particles in which each material has a film forming process temperatu re at a value below the degradation temperature of the fiber. The layers may be applied individually or simultaneously onto the fibers. The coated material is heat dried without compression to form a prepreg composite.

摘要: The present invention relates to using an adhesive and process for heating, curing, joining, attaching and detaching a part article from a body substrate structure. Described are polymeric adhesive compositions and methods of curing using a radiation apparatus for rapid adhesive bonding and attaching a fastener part to a structure surface. The adhesive composition contains additives that directly or indirectly absorb projected radiation from a radiation apparatus to rapidly and uniformly melt the adhesive and bond the surface of the part material onto the surface of the substrate material. A process is also described to reverse the adhesive bonding and detach the fastener part from the substrate.

The matrix resin has elongation at brake of at least about 100% and tensile strength at break of less than about 50 Mpa. The composite structure can further comprise an impact-absorbing elastomeric filler integrated into the matrix resin. Also provided is a method for making a composite structure. The method includes providing a high tenacity fiber; providing a matrix resin with elongation at brake of at least about 100% and tensile strength at break of less than about 50 Mpa; and coating the high tenacity fiber with the matrix resin. The method can further comprise adding an impact- absorbing elastomeric filler into the matrix resin.
