An apparatus configured to count people in a target area includes a wireless transceiver and a controller. The wireless transceiver is configured to radiate an impulse electromagnetic wave to the target area and receive a reflection signal from the target area, and the controller is configured to obtain a signal strength of the reflection signal over a reception time period during which the reflection signal is received and count people according to the signal strength, considering that the signal strength is weakened in proportion to the reception time period.

A temperature of the deposition chamber is set at a temperature lower than a temperature of the gas heating unit so that a selection range with respect to a catalyst metal to be used in the catalyst layer may be expanded, and damage of the substrate due to a high temperature heat may be minimized.

The apparatus for recognizing the tag includes: a RF transmission/reception unit for performing wireless data communication with the tag; a power unit for providing predetermined power; a power supply controller for supplying or blocking a power to the RF transmission/reception unit based on a power control signal; and a controller for setting a standby state and a continuous state of the transmission/reception unit, outputting the power control signal according to the state, transmitting a tag search signal by a predetermined period in the standby state, converting a state to the continuous state when the response is received from the tag, and maintaining the standby state when the response is not received from the tag.
