Abstract:
A personal care product that includes a personal care composition disposed in a collapsible bag (18) at least partially surrounded by an elastically deformable member (14) and, optionally, an outer container body (500). The elastic member (14) is constructed of an elastically extensible material that permits the transfer of infrared radiation through at least a portion of the elastic member (14). Potential energy is generated by stretching the elastically deformable member, which is used to dispense the composition in lieu of a propellant or pump. The container may also include a actuatable valve (16) for dispensing the composition.
Abstract:
This invention relates to methods and systems for reliable ultra-high purity (UHP) helium gas supply and maintaining dedicated onsite inventory. Specifically, the invention employs multiple ISO containers whereby vaporized UHP helium in the standby ISO container(s) is used to build-up pressure in the online ISO container. The thermal shields of the ISO containers can be used to decrease heat leaks into the backup ISO container thereby decreasing helium vaporation rate and the amount of gas needed to be withdrawn in order to maintain the maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) of the vessel. An even lower supply rate is possible by drawing UHP helium gas using an economizer valve but maintaining liquid in the ISO container. This makes it possible to efficiently manage the supply rate, from low flows to higher flow requirements, and to optimize UHP helium draw rate from the storage vessels. A further advantage is that UHP helium gas sent to the customer is of higher purity since it comes directly from a liquid source. The UHP helium gas can be used in semiconductor manufacturing, e.g., as a carrier gas to introduce precursors into deposition chambers during thin film deposition on the wafers.
Abstract:
A novel fail-safe temperature monitoring system that can distinguish excessive chemical adsorbent temperature from temperature sensing component failure is provided. This system prevents the gas purifier from shutting down as a result of temperature sensing component failure, and thereby prevents a false shutdown of a high-purity gas production plant.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a system for producing and supplying an ultra high purity gas stream continuously, comprising: (a) producing a conventional purity gas stream using an air separation unit; (b) routing the conventional purity gas stream to a gas purifier to further remove contaminants; (c) measuring the concentration of a contaminant in the conventional purity gas stream using at least one contaminant detection device disposed on a line leading the conventional purity gas stream from the air separation unit to the gas purifier; (d) providing at least one buffer volume downstream of the contaminant detection device such that if the contaminant concentration detected upstream of the buffer vessel exceeds a predetermined level, the contaminated conventional purity gas stream can be prevented from reaching the gas purifier and causing an exothermic reaction.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a green ceramic insert (20) comprising a green ceramic body (14) provided with a recess (15). Said recess (15) crosses the ceramic body (14) and is filled with a paste (15') which can be converted into an electrical feedthrough. The invention also relates to a ceramic insert consisting of a sintered insert (20) of the same green ceramic type. The invention further relates to a ceramic green body (5) or a green body composite (5') which comprises at least one recess (11), in areas, in which one of the above-mentioned green ceramic inserts (20) is placed. Disclosed is also a ceramic laminated composite consisting of a sintered green body (5) or green body composite (5')of the same green ceramic type. According to the invention, the ceramic insert (20) is especially connected to the laminated composite in a material fit. A conductive paste (16) which is converted into a strip conductor by means of sintering is guided on the laminated composite in such a way that it is electrically insulated from the same. Said ceramic insert connects the upper side of the laminated composite to the lower side thereof in an electroconductive manner by means of the electrical feedthrough.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a plastics card (1) in which a mini-smart-card (3) is held in a carrier card (2) such that said mini-smart-card (3) can be separated therefrom. Disposed between the mini-smart-card (3) and the carrier card (2) is a first predetermined breaking region (S1) in the form of a tab and/or at least one connection web. At a spacing from this first predetermined breaking region (S1) is a second predetermined breaking region (S2) in the form of a tab and/or at least one connection web, the mini-smart-card (3) being completely free along its outer contour apart from the two predetermined breaking regions (S1, S2). A predetermined breaking or bend line (SL) is provided between the mini-smart-card (3) and the carrier card (2), corresponding to one of the two predetermined breaking regions (S1, S2). This predetermined breaking or bend line (SL) extends over the carrier card (2) such that the carrier card is separated by the cut-out (FS) for the mini-smart-card (3). By breaking or bending the carrier card (2) along the predetermined breaking line (SL) the first predetermined breaking region (S1) between the carrier card (2) and mini-smart-card (3) is automatically broken. Finally, the mini-smart-card (3) is then separated along the still intact predetermined breaking region (S2) by being pivoted out of the plane of the carrier card (2), the separating line material simultaneously breaking over the predetermined breaking region.
Abstract:
A method of making a personal care product that is capable of dispensing a composition onto a surface in the form of a film without the use of an additional applicator. The method includes providing a collapsible bag at least partially surrounded by an elastically deformable member and, optionally, an outer container body. Potential energy is generated by stretching the elastically deformable member, which is used to dispense the composition in lieu of a propellant or pump. The personal care composition may be a skin care composition, an antifungal, or an enzyme inhibiting composition.

Abstract:
The simulation of large loads with high power conversions is made possible in that a controllable voltage source (13) is provided in the bridge cross branch (12) and an inductance (14) is provided that acts within the bridge cross branch (12), and in that the actual current iist can be adjusted to the value of a predetermined target current isoll by way of a current control unit (15) that acts on the controllable voltage source (13).
