    摘要: A cylinder head gasket (1) includes two pieces of gasket base plates (3) providing a combustion chamber hole (3A), and a spacer (4) arranged surrounding a cylinder bore (2) in an endless manner and is held between the gasket base plates. Each gasket base plate has a full-bead portion (3a) and a half-bead portion (3b) within a range thereof that superposes on the spacer (4). The spacer, the full-bead portion and the half-bead portion are held continuously along the circumferential direction of the cylinder bore between the cylinder head (5) and the cylinder block (6). Due to the spacer, the full-bead portion and the half-bead portion are press-contacted to the opposing member with a high surface pressure and over a relatively wide contact area. Therefore, a favorable sealing performance is obtained despite the presence of a cavity or a scar in the junction surface of the opposing side.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an end bearing for a one-way clutch well suited for use in an automatic transmission. An end bearing according to the present invention comprises a main body portion comprising in turn a steel plate, a hard coating portion applied to the surface of the main body portion and a soft coating portion applied to the surface of the hard coating portion. Since its main body portion comprises the steel plate, the end bearing of the present invention can maintain sufficient rigidity. In addition, since a portion constituting a sliding surface is covered with the soft and hard coating portions, it is possible to provide an end bearing which is superior in anti-seizing properties and durability.

    摘要: A cylinder head gasket (1) is provided with a shim ring (5), which surrounds a combustion chamber hole (2A) of a gasket body (2). The shim ring is spot welded circumferentially along weld lines (5a, 5b) such that pitches of the spot welding are varied to form high weld density regions (H, H, H) and low weld density regions in a circumferential direction of the shim ring. Pitch of spot welding in the high weld density regions is one which would generate strain in the shim ring due to heat at the time of welding in the case where the entire circumference of the shim ring were spot welded at such pitch. Inclusion of the low weld density regions can prevent strain in the shim ring to enhance a welding strength.

When the overlay layer (5) has worn, the Sn-Ni compound (6) is exposed to a sliding surface but the above setting can prevent the Sn-Ni compound (6) from being exposed to the entire sliding surface, so that it is possible to improve a seizure resistant property of the slide bearing (1).
