    摘要: Low density polyethylene produced in tubular reactors using free radical initiators in a high pressure process can vary significantly with respect to melt elasticity. Provided is a method for controlling the melt elasticity of low density polyethylene produced in a tubular reactor comprising altering the levels of bi- functional initiator added in multiple injection points relative to the traditional mono- functional initiators added, while striving to maintain desired density and melt index at a preferred conversion rate.
