摘要: Devices and methods for blast/ fire containment are disclosed herein. Devices include containers designed to contain and/or mitigate high energy events such as blasts from explosions or thermal runaways. The containers include a body that is built to define an interior chamber shaped to receive an explosive device or a device susceptible to thermal runaway. The container comprises a plurality of substructures that are arranged in a layered sequence to provide the desired effect. The substructures act in concert to decouple the shock load to the main containment structure using shock decoupling with energy dissipation and attenuation technology, having a highly deformable polymer structure, and managed venting. In thermally dominated events, such as a runaway LI battery fire, a crushable medium present in one or more layers of the container presents a significant thermal barrier and contains the fire.

摘要: A dual-reinforced construction board is disclosed comprising a core having an upper surface and an opposing lower surface, a first reinforced fibrous facer adhered to the upper surface of the core and a second fibrous facer adhered to the lower surface of the core. Each of the first and second fibrous facer comprise a non-woven mat coated on a first surface with a coating composition. The first fibrous facer and optionally the second fibrous facer further include a reinforcement layer adhered to at least a portion of the first surface of the non-woven mat. The dual-reinforced construction board has a fastener pull-through strength of at least 400 lbf.

摘要: A multilayer foam film with an enhanced perceived surface whiteness comprising for light-blocking, signage, and general packaging application is disclosed. In an embodiment, the film has a bulk density of less than 0.962 gr/cm3 wherein more than 50% of the cells in the foam layer are closed cells. In an embodiment, the multilayer foam film has a thickness greater than 1 mil and one of the solid skin layers contains white pigment. In another embodiment the white skin layer has a skin whiteness value of greater than 80 according to ASTM E313-73, and a skin layer tint value of less than 1 according to ASTM E313-73, and The lightness value (L*) of the white skin layer of greater than 90 in CIE L*a*b* dimension according to ASTM E308. In an embodiment, the film has a very smooth surface with a smoothness value of less than 25 in Sheffield smoothness unit configuration according to TAPPI T 538.

摘要: This disclosure relates to a coreless roll of a tissue paper product, such as toilet paper, made of a spirally wound continuous web of tissue paper product having a first end and a second end and having an outer diameter in the range of 95 to 150 mm. The web of tissue paper product is wound such as to define an axially extending inner hole centrally positioned relative to the coreless roll and such that the first end is located on the outer side of the coreless roll and the second end is located at the inner hole. A diameter of the inner hole is in the range of 20 to 50 mm. A density of the coreless roll is in a range of 80 to 150 kg/m3. A caliper ratio of the roll is in a range of 10% to 80%. The tissue paper product comprises between two and four plies, wherein the plies are ply-bonded. At least one ply is made of Conventional Wet Press paper (CWP), and at least one ply is a structured ply. The grammage of the tissue paper product is in a range of 24 g/m2 to 125 g/m2.
