L'invention concerne un procédé et une installation de réalisation d'une pièce en matériau composite dans lequel on dépose des plis (12) de fibres continues et électriquement conductrices pour former un empilement de plis (12) sur un support (11). Selon l'invention, au moins la face dudit support (11) portant ledit empilement est électriquement isolante et on réalise les étapes suivantes: a) introduire une borne (13, 18) électrique entre les extrémités d'au moins deux plis (12) placés directement l'un au dessus de l'autre dans ledit empilement, et sur au moins deux côtés opposés de ces plis (12), b) lorsque lesdites fibres sont sèches, introduire une résine pour imprégner lesdites fibres, c) faire circuler un courant entre lesdites bornes (13, 18) électriques au travers desdits plis (12) pour durcir ladite résine par chauffage par effet Joule.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von dreidimensional geformten Organoblechen (8) aus planem, faserverstärktem, thermoplastischem und elektrisch leitfähigem Rohmaterial, wobei das Rohmaterial mittels einer Handhabungseinrichtung mit mehreren in einer Ebene angeordneten Aufnahmen (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f) aufgenommen wird und das Rohmaterial mittels einer elektrischen Kontaktiereinrichtung mit mehreren das Rohmaterial elektrisch verbindenden Kontaktleisten einer Stromversorgungseinrichtung erwärmt wird. Um den einen Umformprozess des Rohmaterials einfacher und ohne Werkzeugformen ausführen zu können, wird mittels der Kontaktleisten das Rohmaterial innerhalb zumindest eines von zwei Aufnahmen (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f) begrenzten Flächenbereichs (7, 7a, 7b) des Rohmaterials partiell erwärmt und mittels einer Verlagerung der Aufnahmen (4a, 4d, 4e) aus der Ebene des Rohmaterials eine plastische Verformung des erwärmten Rohmaterials zu einem Organoblech (8) oder einem Rohteil (9) eines Organoblechs vorgenommen.

A body (2) of UV settable polymer material is quickly cured to a solid state by applying UV radiation from a lamp (4). The polymer is mixed with strands (3) of optical fibres. The radiation is able to penetrate up to 3mms through the polymer allowing it to enter the optical strands and to pass between adjoining strands so as to penetrate uniformly the whole of the polymer body. The optical strands can be designed so that they leak radiat ion from their sides thereby assisting in the transfer of radiation from a strand into the polymer and into other strands. In an alternative arrangement the strands can be longer and possibly woven or otherwise formed into a mat of fibres sufficiently close to allow radiation to pass between them. Because the radiation passes from one fibre to another, it can be introduced through only one or a selection of the fibres.

The structural member includes a plurality of layers (12, 14, 16) of structural reinforcement material, and two or more electrical devices(20, 22) are disposed at least partially between the layers with an intermediate layer (14) of the structural reinforcement material disposed between the electrical devices. At least one electrical bus (30, 32, 34, 36) is disposed in the structural member, and each electrical device is connected to the bus by a conductive electrode (40, 42, 44, 46). Thus, the electrodes (40, 42, 44, 46) can extend through the intermediate layer of the structural reinforcement material to connect each of the electrical devices to one or more of the buses (30, 32, 34, 36).
