A method of forming an improved sealed joint between two or more shaped ceramic structures includes providing at least first and second ceramic structures joined together by a joint comprising one or more of silicon, a silicon alloy and a silicon compound, the joint including an exposed portion interior of the joined structures, then converting at least a portion of the one or more of silicon, a silicon alloy, and a silicon compound of the joint to silicon nitride and/or silicon carbide, desirably at least at an interior exposed portion of the joint, so as to provide increased chemical resistance for the joint when aggressive chemicals are used within device formed from the sealed-together ceramic structures. The ceramic structures desirably comprise silicon carbide.

The discontinuous top layer is preferably a polymeric material, and openings are provided therein, for passage of fluids therethrough, to avoid moisture, volatiles, and other fluid materials from being trapped beneath the top layer. Systems, devices, and related methods are disclosed for electromechanical transfer printing of 2D materials disposed on one substrate to another. The printing device can be configured to transfer a 2D material from a source substrate to the target substrate by applying a combination of mechanical and electrostatic forces to facilitate electromechanical adhesion between the 2D material layer and the target substrate. Some embodiments of the printing device can effect direct transfer printing of a 2D material from a source substrate to a target substrate without the use of etchants and adhesives.

The light guiding particles have a light scattering property, which can transfer a linear light into a flat light, and therefore the light guiding liquid glue of the present disclosure has a light guiding property. The touch sensitive display includes a display panel and a touch panel. The light guiding liquid glue is disposed between the display panel and the touch panel, which can transmit evenly lights emitted from the display panel to outside of the touch sensitive display.

A polymeric sleeve (60) may extend over a portion of the first section (50A) and an adjoining portion of the second section (50B). A length of heat shrink tubing (70) may be placed over the sleeve (60) and heated, thereby compressing the heat shrink tubing around the sleeve. The sleeve may then be thermally bonded to each of the first section (50A) and the second section (50B). The heat shrink tubing (70) may then be removed, leaving the sleeve (60) securely joining the first section and the second section (50A) to form a multi-section (50B) tubular member.
