Luftfeder für ein Fahrzeug, insbesondere für ein Nutzfahrzeug, umfassend einen Luftbalg (2), der einen achsseitigen (8) und einen aufbauseitigen (10) Bereich aufweist, welche zueinander zwischen einer ersten, benachbarten Position und einer zweiten, beabstandeten Position bewegbar sind, einen Tauchkolben (4), der an dem achsseitigen Bereich (8) des Luftbalgs (2) angeordnet ist, einen Befestigungsabschnitt (16, 24), um den aufbauseitigen Bereich (10) des Luftbalgs (2) an einem Trägerelement des Fahrzeugs zu befestigen, und ein Verdrängungselement (6), das an dem Befestigungsabschnitt (16, 24) des Luftbalgs (2) angeordnet ist, wobei das Verdrängungselement (6) in der ersten Position des Luftbalgs (2) den Raum zwischen dem Tauchkolben (4) und dem Befestigungsabschnitt (16, 24) im wesentlichen ausfüllt.

La présente invention concerne un organe de suspension pour véhicule apte à être solicité en compression lors de la détente de la suspension du véhicule, comprenant un élément ressort (2) déformable élastiquement lors de la sollicitation en compression et un élément de butée (1) déformable élastiquement uniquement pendant une première phase de sollicitation en compression. L’élément de butée (1) et l’élément ressort (2) sont formés dans une même pièce. L’invention concerne également une suspension pour véhicule équipée d’un tel organe. Application particulière pour les suspensions de véhicules de type automobile avec des caractéristiques de raideur correspondant à une courbe de raideur apte à reproduire les critères constituant une suspension contractiveÚ.

A vehicle drive system includes a frame (12), a motor (14) mounted to the frame, a drive sprocket (48) operatively connected to a motor shaft (46), and a wheel assembly. The wheel assembly includes an axle that is rotatable relative to the frame, a follower sprocket (76) fixedly mounted to the axle, a wheel mounted to one end of the axle and a drive chain (26, 28) engaged around the drive sprocket (48) and follower sprocket (76). The axle is suspended such that it is selectively movable in a generally vertical arcuate path relative to the frame. The vehicle drive system may also include an idler mechanism that engages the drive chain between the drive sprocket and follower sprocket, in order to maintain tension in the drive chain.

A caster mounted on a cart, comprising a bracket (2) fixed to a vehicle body side, a link (3) connected rotatably to the bracket (2), a wheel (4) connected rotatably to the link (3), and a compression rubber block (20) compressively deformed according to the rotation of the link (3), wherein, because an initially compressed part (23) having a partially reduced cross-section is formed on the compression rubber block (20), the rotation of the link (3) is made smooth so as to suppress an input into the vehicle body.

An elastomeric mounting (10) suitable for use in the suspension of an off-road vehicle comprises two rigid end members (11, 12) maintained spaced apart by an intervening tubular body (13) of elastomeric material which defines a central chamber (26), and a substantially inextensible connecting means (36) arranged to extend through said central chamber to interconnect said end members and resist more than a predetermined separation of the end members, one (12) of the rigid end members having a cavity member (37) associated therewith and which lies within the axial length of the mounting between the end members to define a location cavity, said one (12) of the rigid end members having a substantially planar axially outwardly facing contact surface (51), a location member (38) positionable in said location cavity captively to engage an end region of the inextensible connecting means (36) and transmit force to the cavity member (37) when the connection means is loaded in tension, said contact surface (51) of an end member being adapted in use to be secured to one (52) of two members (52, 53) to be interconnected by the mounting (10) and said one (52) of two members serving to provide an abutment surface (54) which prevents the location member (37) displacing to a position at which it ceases to captively engage an end region of the inextensible connecting means.

The invention concerns a vehicle wheel suspension (51) using a screw spring (52) and a flexible retaining and connecting armouring (53), which in working position, stresses a portion of the spring (52) by maintaining it compressed, for obtaining two different stiffness curves the reversal point of which is located in the vicinity of the working position; when there is compression, the screw spring assembly (52) is compressed whereas when there is strain relief, only the non stressed portion of said spring (52) is decompressed, the suspension being asymmetrical with strain relief stiffness which is greater than the compression stiffness. Each armouring (53) is made up of two fixing elements, one (54) co-operating with the whole or part of a spire of the screw spring (52), the other (56) co-operating either with the whole or part of another spire of said spring (52), or with the shock absorber body (59) and of a longitudinal element (55) capable of being deformed in compression but not so in strain relief, integral with the two fixing elements, the armouring (53) enclosing and stressing at least two spires of the screw spring (52).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anschlagvorrichtung (10) zur Begrenzung einer vertikalen Einfederung einer an einem Achskörper befestigten Blattfeder eines Kraftfahrzeugs mit einem Anschlag (12), der eine vertikale Bewegung der wenigstens einen Blattfeder begrenzt, einer Tragstruktur (14) zur Abstützung und Befestigung des Anschlags (12) an einem Fahrzeugträger (16) und eine Führungseinrichtung (18) zur Aufnahme und Führung wenigstens eines Kabels, einer Leitung (20) und/oder einer Halterung (48), wobei die Führungseinrichtung (18) an der Tragstruktur (14) befestigt ist.
