Abstract:
A collapsible tricycle having linkage to all three wheels enabling a smaller turning radius when all three wheels are tilted during a turn. The tricycle folds through the rear frame having a hinged rear axle with linkage to pivotal handle bars mounted to the rear frame that when pivoted from their storage position to their operative position also pivots the rear axle through said linkage from its stored position under the rear frame into its operative position. The rear axle is segmented so that when moved to its stored position under the rear frame each of the rear wheels can be pivotally collapsed against the frame.
Abstract:
Vehicle (1) and (2) with both hand drives (100-1 to 4) and foot drives (200-1 to 4), which must be moved forward and backward by hand drive members (4A, 4A) or foot drive members (5B, 5B), either independently or jointly, to drive the vehicle, in which during both the forward movement and backward movement an operation stroke is made, which powers at least one wheel (13) of the vehicle. The fifth coupling assembly allows the rider to use different ways to drive the vehicle. In motors 2.W, the drive shaft is driven either by the reciprocating movement of the pistons, in which the movement is effectuated by the ignition of fuels and the operation of the second coupling assembly, or by the reciprocating movement of the driving rod 201B and the rotation of the gear that is a freewheel mechanism.

Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a muscle-propelled vehicle with two or more wheels, more particularly a vehicle with front drive and steering. The vehicle of the present invention is designed to exploit the propulsive force exerted by the rider by the lower and the upper limbs, however without imposing the rotary movement of feet and hands to perform the rotary motion to be transmitted to the driving wheel. The vehicle according to the present invention comprises a frame, at least one rear wheel mounted idle on a rear fork of said frame, at least one front wheel mounted on a front fork, in turn so mounted as to be steering relative to the frame, a transformation mechanism of the muscle-propelled motion into a rotary motion, and a transmission mechanism of said rotary motion to said at least one front wheel, wherein said transformation mechanism comprises a pair of cranks rotatably integral with said transmission mechanism, and said mechanism also comprises at least two pairs of connecting rods, that are driven by the four limbs of the rider.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bicycle for exercising the upper part of the body, which enables a user to exercise the upper part of the body while also exercising the lower part of the body, wherein exercising the lower part of the body is performed by pedaling, and in which a motion-converting unit has a simplified configuration and handles are provided with respective braking apparatuses. The bicycle for exercising the upper part of a body according to the present invention comprises a motion-converting unit (40) for transferring the motion of a rotating motion unit (30) provided with handles (31, 31') to a driving force transferring unit (50), wherein the rotating motion unit (30) transfers the rotating driving force of the handles (31, 31') to the driving force transferring unit (50) through an upper motion-converting means (41) comprising a pair of bevel gears (410, 411) and through a lower motion-converting means (42) comprising a pair of bevel gears (420, 421), and wherein the handles (31, 31') are provided with respective braking levers (1, 1') for operating respective brakes (111, 121) of the front and rear wheels (11, 12) of the bicycle. The present invention provides a bicycle for exercising the upper part of the body, which has a simple configuration, and which enables handles to perform a braking function, thereby achieving improved use convenience and operating safety.
Abstract:
Bicycles constitute a common mode of transport. Usually they are run manually by propelling the rear wheel (R1-5) by connecting it through a chain (F4) to a foot operated pedal (P4) moved by the lower limbs. The present invention relates to a bicycle which is propelled manually by using facilities for propelling both the rear (R1-5) and the front (W 1-5) wheels. The force of both the upper limbs and the lower limbs can be used in this. This bicycle has the advantage of offering greater speed and less fatigue compared to the conventional bicycle. The disadvantage of this bicycle is the additional weight of the rotating handle subassembly used for propelling the front wheel. But this additional weight is negligible.
Abstract:
A foot and arm drivable bicycle, said bicycle including, a main frame supporting a foot and arm drivable rear wheel and a steerable front wheel, two symmetrically opposed substantially longitudinal extending retractable/extendable swingable arms, each swingable arm in communication with a foot drivable pedal, wherein the swinging of the arms and foot pedaling simultaneously are adapted to drive the rear wheel into a ground engaging motion, said bicycle further including a laterally rotatable steer rim in communication with the front steer wheel for turning the bicycle thereof into the required direction, said swingable arms including shift grips in communication with the steer wheel such that the vertical adjustment of the or each shift grip on thθ respective swingable arm rotates the steer rim, whereby such rotation is translated to a corresponding turn of the front steer wheel to direct the bicycle into the required direction.
