The cell, for example, may be a stem cell or an immune cell. Also disclosed are non-human transgenic animals whose genome comprises a nucleic acid encoding a truncated recombinant GPCR amino acid sequence. Also disclosed are methods of producing stem cells that express a truncated recombinant GPCR, comprising obtaining a transgenic animal of the present invention and isolating stem cells from the transgenic animal.
