A sealant for prevention of blowout (7) having such a property that is easy to flow due to a low viscosity while a vehicle is traveling and is difficult to flow due to a high viscosity while the vehicle is left stationary, wherein the viscosity of the sealant for prevention of blowout (7) filled in a sealant compartment (6) formed along the outer periphery of the air chamber (5) of a tire (T) is set at 25 to 35 dPa.s and a thixotropy value thereof is set at 6.5 to 11.0, whereby the viscosity of the sealant (7) is lowered by the agitating action due to vibration or by a centrifugal force when the tire (T) is rotated by the traveling of the vehicle so as to uniformly distribute the sealant into the sealant chamber (6), the viscosity of the sealant (7) is increased when the vehicle stops and the agitating action is eliminated and, because the sealant (7) is maintained in the state where the sealant (7) is diffused uniformly without being flown to the lower side of the sealant chamber (6) by the gravity, vibration and noise can be prevented even when the vehicle travels at a high speed after a long period of time is elapsed.

A tire containing sealing agent, wherein an outer liner is stuck on the inner surface of a tread, a sealing agent chamber filled with sealing agent is formed between the outer liner and an inner liner, and an air chamber filled with air is formed inside the inner liner, the inner liner is formed with a soft rubber of 60 kgf/cm or less in 300% modulus so as to not only reduce a puncture damage to the inner liner given by nails but also immediately contract the damage after the nails have been removed in order to delay the flowout of air from the air chamber and, in addition, because the soft inner liner can be deformed easily by the pressure of air in the air chamber, it forces out the sealing agent in the sealing agent chamber immediately into the damage of the tread with an air pressure so as to effectively repair the damage.

A method of manufacturing sealant-containing tires, wherein a green tire (24) in which a tire body (l) and an inner liner (2) are laminated on each other is set in upper and lower molds (29, 30) and subjected to vulcanization molding with a bladder (3l) expanded by an air pressure from the inside thereof, a mold releasing sheet (9), such as a fluororesin sheet having mold releasing property on one surface only thereof being inserted between the inner liner (2) and tire body (l) with the mold releasing property-carrying surface thereof opposed to the inner liner (2), whereby the vulcanization bonding of the inner liner (2) to the tire body (l) is prevented to enable a sealant chamber to be filled with a sealant to be formed to an accurate shape, forming the mold releasing sheet (9) out of a material which dissolves in the sealant enabling a decrease in the sealability of the tire caused by the mold releasing sheet (9) remaining in the sealant chamber to be avoided.
