The present invention relates to methods and uses of photo-labile compounds which are trehalose-6-phosphate or trehalose-6-phosphonate or agriculturally acceptable salts thereof in the induction of floral development in plants. The invention also concerns methods and the use of the compounds for the acceleration of floral development in treated compared with untreated plants.
Abstract:
Novel pesticide compositions and formulations, containing a phosphorous-containing compound and a nitrogen-releasing compound, are disclosed. These novel compositions exhibit a synergistic pesticidal activity and are particularly useful in treating pests such as nematodes (including root-not nematodes), fungi and bacteria. Methods utilizing these compositions for controlling pests, articles-of-manufacture containing same and processes of preparing same are further disclosed.

Described herein are nucleic acid-peptide capsule complexes or nanoparticles comprising pre-formed peptide capsules and nucleic acids bound the exterior surface of the capsule, such that the wrap around the capsule membrane. The peptide capsules comprise bilayer membrane defining a liquid-receiving interior space and comprises a plurality of branched, amphipathic peptides. The present invention is directed to pesticidal formulations utilizing novel alkylpolyglycoside amines as adjuvants. The pesticidal formulation need not, but may, include an additional eye irritation-reducing complex. The adjuvant is particularly useful with glyphosate (N (phosphonomethyl)glycine) compositions. Methods for using these pesticidal formulations are also disclosed.
