Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Polyisocyanats, nämlich eines Isocyanatgruppen-terminierten Polyol-Polyanthranilsäureesters. Das Verfahren umfasst die Umsetzung eines Anthranilsäurederivats ausgewählt aus Anthranilsäurehalogenid (insbesondere Anthranilsäurechlorid), Isatosäureanhydrid oder einem Gemisch derselben mit einem ersten Polyol einer zahlengemittelten Molmasse von mindestens 200 g/mol und einer Funktionalität im Bereich von 2 bis 8 unter Erhalt eines Polyamins (nämlich eines Polyol-Polyanthranilsäureesters mit aminischen Endgruppen) und Umsetzung des Polyamins mit Phosgen unter Erhalt eines Polyisocyanats (nämlich eines Isocyanatgruppen-terminierten Polyol-Polyanthranilsäureesters). Die Erfindung betrifft ferner die so erhältlichen Polyisocyanate, deren Verwendung in Polyadditionsreaktionen und so erhältliche Polyadditionsprodukte.

The present invention provides a novel process for the preparation of droxidopa, a synthetic amino acid precursor of norepinephrine. The process is a stereoselective process for the preparation of droxidopa using asymmetric induction and thus avoids synthetic process involving chiral resolution. The present invention also provides novel intermediates of formula III, formula V and formula VI.

Use of methyl glycine diacetic acid (MGDA) as additive in processes for recovering crude oil and/or gas from subterranean formations, wherein the MGDA is a mixture of L- and D-enantiomers of MGDA or salts thereof, said mixture containing an excess of the respective L-isomer, and the enantiomeric excess (ee) of the L-isomer is in the range of from 10 % to 75 %. Preferably, the process is a processes of acidizing subterranean formations.
